It's a question to you, obviously. To validate to authenticity of the quote that you claimed. You cannot.

No Dave, l am fair and have said the same before, every club needs those that will go no matter what.

If l was 10+ years older then I'd buy an ST, but l still have other things to do. I am not demanding only that l have seen enough of City in Div4, not my fault, l only bought an ST for 30 years..

I know you like to get around and watch different levels of football and that's fine, fortunately or unfortunately I'm one of the above for my sin's.

I know what you mean and I'll be there but it's the ubers who are doing my head in. Acclaiming 12k renewals whilst ignoring that we've lost 40% of our support in 2 seasons. Their solution? Fook em!

In over 50 years of watching, Leeds have always been a far bigger club than us. Just like Man Utd have with Oldham

Aye I know that, just frustrating were always either in LG1 or LG2 minus the Richmond era. Would love for us to get into the Championship one day but with how its going money-wise its unlikely we will see that day for a long time.

We almost did get into the championship, then we decided scrap everything and start again. Its not that difficult to get into the championship, but staying in there is another thing

Yep, but the smaller teams you mention are all towns. A city the size of Bradford should be higher than the lowest league of English professional football. How do smaller towns like Barnsley, Rotherham, Preston and Blackburn consistently compete at higher levels than Bradford City? This club only ever takes two steps forward before it's three steps back again.

If you look back at the history's of the likes of Preston and Blackburn they we league one teams (what is now the Premiership) for many years, even though in comparison for their size not as big a population as Bradford, Burnley being another top team far more history than Bradford City.
When I was a lad my mates and lads from school were either Bradford City or Bradford Park Avenue fans, once Revie took over at Leeds in the early 60s and made them a great side many jumped ship and started going to Elland Road, not for me but I don't condemn those that did.

Difficult to say. History l guess, the lack of success from before the start of WW1 meant that there was no history the equivalent of Preston or Blackburn. Until the early 70’s there were two professional clubs in Bradford. Additionally Rugby League has a significant following in Bradford. By the time there was only one football team in the City, the M62 corridor provided relatively easy access to Greater Manchester and Merseyside. Our near neighbours had established themselves and a significant number in the Aire Valley stayed on the then direct train instead of changing at Shipley! Indeed many got on the train at Shipley, rather than the bus to Bradford!

I don't buy the 'geography' argument, it's as easy for people in (eg) Preston or Burnley to go to Old Trafford (or any of the big Prem teams on the M62 corridor) as it is for Bradfordians.

Wigan is far more of a rugby league town than Bradford, but their round ball club have been far more successful than City in this century.

What the likes of Wigan, Barnsley, Rotherham and Huddersfield have had that Bradford City haven't is significant, long term investment from an owner who's also a fan. Bradford City now have an owner that's neither a football fan in general or a City fan in particular. Who's only continuing to fund the club because of a very poor choice of who he jumped into bed with in business terms. The club's gone from the verge of the Championship to League Two limbo. I can usually find positives in even the darkest situations, but I'm struggling to believe that Bradford City's future is anything but f*&+@# at the moment.
