Stuart return?

If Edin was looking for a reason to sack Stuart he made it easy for him Stuart has been sacked at Scunthorpe for losing 6 of the last 9 his record for us leading up to getting the sack was worse than that. We were dropping faster than the titanic.

 

I did originaly post that it was during the close season after he'd taken us to a Wembley Final, I'd suggest only a mad man would want to sack a manager who did that for their club.
You didnt believe it at the time and reading this post you're still supporting Rachic.
When he did finally sack him without doubt we were having a bad run, but since sacking Stuart don't you find it a little strange that Collins, Grayson, Hopkin and now Bowyer can't get these players to perform.

Bowyer has had no say in the players he has inherited. And he hasn’t got a proper centre forward like Wyke

 

Wyke struggled with us, and is struggling at Sunderland. Hardly a proper CF, in my book.

Are you basing your arguement on Wyke being at the club.

 

Bowyer needs to stay and do the same job he did at Blackpool. He recruited most of the player who figured against us on Saturday and they impressed with physicality and pace. And you saw the regard the Blackpool fans held him in

 

I'm not doubting that - Yet that doesn't make him a good CF. Yes, a striker, he may be, but not an ideal CF.

 

Don't give a monkey's about Blackpool and he wasn't managing them on Saturday.

When you think about it, he knew most of them players and still got his tactics completely wrong and we put in a disgraceful performance.

Bowyer isn't what this club needs next season at all.

If @Glenn Ackroyd is claiming that we're not in danager of Admin or anything then this club needs to reset and get a manager that will connect this the fans. Bowyers record so far is unacceptable! It's a results business Park and he was brought into do a job which currently he his failing at.

 

So we appoint another manager how many games are you giving him

 

We appoint a manager that can connect with the fans or a young ambitious manager with a strong network in the game. A manager/coach that players will look up too.

Most of the players currently here will be here next season Park! If Bowyer can't get a tune out of them now at the business end of the season he won't next season.

We need a manager to come in near enough straight away after the season and we give them a season or 2 year contract.

 

It shouldn't be surprising that anyone is judging a manager after four matches but that doesn't make it any less ridiculous. As you point out Bowyer has shown his quality at his previous clubs. He's not the messiah (as certain posters scoff we are claiming) but he's a decent, sound manager.

 

You haven’t answered the question how long would you give a new manager with this group of players

 

Not at Bradford City he isn't so far and that's what counts.

McCall is decent sound manager and Scunny sacked him. It's not about the past!

It's about a vision and having a footballing identity for the club. This is why Lee Johnson is doing so well because he can present it and outline his plans.

Bowyer took an 11 game gig and he knew what he was letting himself in for.

Unlike you he isn't making excuses.

He has lost 3 out of 4 and delivered unacceptable performances which again he admits.

Football is a results business. You're embarrassing yourself making excuses because Bowyer isn't!

 

I am making no excuses Bowyer should be given the job now of rebuilding this team. Planning needs to be done now and he is in post the last thing we want is to start again in summer
