City players are paid at the end of each month. Had they not got paid at the end of Feb we would have heard by now. This would of course include the non playing staff who I’m sure would not have kept it quiet. It’s another nonsense rumour that people seem to enjoy spreading.

I believe that our media don't dig deep into what is going on at our club. Edin managed to ruin it, 2m in the red.

 

That's how performance related pay works when the players, results and performances are as awful as ours

How much longer do you see Mr Rupp bankrolling our club
He is using his own personal wealth paying players (he can't get rid off) who really
don't care what happens
And what alternatives does he realistically have

Don't think @Nottsy or anyone like spreading rumours but you've to have your head in the sand not to think that this club isn't in deep trouble.

 

A difference to deep trouble and a claim that wages are not being paid which I say is nonsense and does not help anyone in this dark time for the club. It's not burying my head in the sand as we have a massive debt which I hope Rupp is covering but you seem to thrive on anything bad that you hear about the club.

 

Stop believing every negative rumour that you hear, non payment of wages has not happened but people listen to a mate of a mate and treat is as fact. Things are bad at City at the moment but feeding every negative rumour does not help.

I don’t know if it’s true or not, I can’t prove anything, but as I’ve said, I have no reason to believe I’m being bullshitted. But one thing’s for certain, I’m not going to not post rumours because you don’t like hearing it.

 

Yes but not that kind of mess. @Glenn Ackroyd stated categorically that Stefan is covering the spending and there is no reason to suspect that wages are not being paid. They might not be getting any bonuses, but that is a good thing. Apart from Caddis and Butterfield if it was within my remit I wouldn’t have paid any of them!

 

I believe what you are telling us, but I just think ppl put 2+2 together and get 7. Yes we are short of cash, and ST are not going well, but I doubt the players are not being paid.

1. Stefan is meeting all funding requirements for the well-publicised shortfall. It's well chronicled in various media outlets. He's worth a reputed 140 million euros so his liquidity is not in question and he's publicly committed to funding the club since Edin left
