Drury stepping up. Bloody hell!

Hoping we get a manager in before Saturday.

It shows the sorry state the club is in when we're left with Drury to take over.

 

It also shows how recklessly its been run over the last couple of years.

 

Do you still feel confident knowing Drury is in charge for Saturday?

 

Give over with that defeatist attitude. We're 3 points from safety, it's hardly mission impossible.

 

I would take Gary Bowyer who is available. Interestingly my Twitter feed told me that James Mason and Kelvin Mellor started following him this weekend.

 

Question. New manager/temp Manager comes in, how do you react to the inclusion of the castaways of Wright and Riley if they’re brought back into the fold?

 

Good question. I have no issues if they do their job

 

In the short-term it can only be hoped that the change of manager bounce can be enough to keep Bradford City up.
In the longer term I think this is a sad day for Bradford City. I thought Hopkin was a really exciting appointment and, though it might have meant relegation first, he could have taken the club back to The Championship within a few years.
For Hopkin his next move will probably be back to Scotland. For Bradford City Gary Bowyer would seem a safe, steady choice; though working for the Oystons has surely made him look very closely behind the scenes before committing himself.

We'll be sliding a long way down this snake before we find the first rung of a ladder again.

 

Can't be worse than Hopkin can he?
We have a tough game ahead that everyone expected us to lose anyway. Give the guy a chance at least,for that game.
We do need a quick appointment though.

 

For me it has to be the very unpopular choice of Steve Evans. Looking beyond his chequered past, he has to be the man who gives us the most chance of staying up. Motivating and organising this band of misfits has to be the priority now with 36 points to play for. It has to be someone who can come in and get the ball rolling from day 1. Cant think of anyone else who stands to give us a better chance of survival

 

The sad thing is like yourself we've heard stuff about Rachic's antics , certainly in my case I didn't want to believe them, but knew deep down they were true.

 

Given that McElhone only came because he's mates with Hopkin, presumably he'll be off too. So we'll need a new fitness coach too.

 

What new ones are there ?
I'm fascinated by reading them.

 

Drury only been in the hot-seat a few minutes and you already want him out. Is there anybody, anywhere that you are prepared to get behind?

 

I want the lot out, be happy never to have to see that lot go through the motions agains

 

Not Evans. As much as I think he gets a tune out of players the last thing this club needs at the moment is another divisive figure.

 

We’ve no manager, no money, a set of players that would struggle in league 2, and have just been beaten by a team of ten men that had lost 8 out of their last 9 games. Good luck with mission (im)possible.
