What madness has driven you to the point of having an opinion on adults wearing replica shirts?

How can you possibly have a preference on such a nothing subject?

 

I can remember getting a flight from Newcastle airport once. I think I was the only male in the airport who didn’t have a football shirt on.

“Proper adult clothing”? What is proper adult clothing? I’m sure a football shirt is deemed as clothing and seen as they make them in adult sizes, I’d class that as adult clothing.

I agree. I'm 34 and I still buy and wear football shirts. I loved getting a new shirt as a kid so it's a nostalgic thing. I like collecting them and I don't care if it's uncool.

 

Too right - each to their own. I think some people would be happier if they lived in China or North Korea and were able to dictate/be dictated to as to what they can wear...!

I usually take a Bradford City shirt with me when I go away, theres always fellow football fans who want a chat.
We went to the Dominican Republic in 1999 in April so I missed these games :
Meet an Everton fan and when we rang home he would ask for the City results and I would ask for the Everton results, so I don't see a problem with men wearing football shirts.

Nice story. I enjoy interacting with other clubs fans on holiday. The shirt is definitely a conversation starter! Nice picture! I remember wearing that shirt in France on my 16th birthday.

 

Our son, aged 11, wore his City strip a lot when we visited Northern Spain in August 1999. Lots of people asked him about it and recognised It, our first season in the Premier League

 

It's a great conversation starter. I wear my city bar scarf in Madrid quite often but a lot of people think it's Harry bloody Potter
