Looks defensive but I thought the same about the lineup against Rochdale and it was one of our most impressive attacking performances for years.

 

Starting 11 is a bit weird. Can't understands Caddis in the middle and Mcgowan as wing back. Seems unnecessary with Akpan on the bench. Even if Akpan is not fully fit why not just push A O'Connor into defensive midfield, paulie in his place and keep Caddis in the position where he's proven very effective.

Mcgowan as wingback worries me.

Yeh, I meant I'd rather us lose by going for it rather than lose by going defensive and sitting back.

 

Hopkin is no Mug lads - Calm down.

 

I think it's a bit of a free hit. Most expect a defeat and it's probably a game we should lose. Any defeat hurts, but a loss today won't materially impact our bid to stay up as there are many more games where we're more likely to get points.
