My confidence is based on the last home game we played where we won it 2-0.

We had our iffy moments in that game but what side doesn’t who’s bottom of the league? If we can get at them and show the same intent I think we will win. As I said walsalls away form isn’t the best coming into it

It is kneek jjerk. No one is disputing the facts of where we are in the table or that, despite some obvious improvements, we are conceding too many sloppy goals.
But @How@How pointed out that Walsall have lost five of their last six away games and scored only once in those games. By contrast, we have lost only one of our last six games.
Your response was immediately negative (just as it always was when we were consistently moving up the league year on year under Parky). You completely ignored the fact that we are recently scoring more goals and losing fewer games (despite our shite defence) and are playing a team with a very poor away record.
Nobody needs telling that we are not very good. We all know that all too well. But there are recent crumbs of comfort in the demise of Rahic, the appointment of McElhone, the return of JR, the promise of January funds and the improvement in results since the start of November. Although the odds are against us avoiding the drop, recent events give some hope. Then along you come with your immediate and predictable messages of doom.
You occasionally have some good points to make but they get lost in the unremitting negativity. You're like the boy who cried wolf - it's hard to recognise when your criticisms are valid because you make them even when they're not. You seem to revel in it. When things go well for a while you're nowhere to be seen.
The only thing that's making this terrible season bearable is the the possibility of a heroic escape. It probably won't happen but I want to hold on to that possibility. I don't need you telling me how crap we are every five minutes.

    6 points from safety
    Bottom of the league
    Shi&e defence

No point talking about funds in January if we don't get back to back league wins in our next two league games.

You need to get real. Even Simon Parker at the T & A is getting real.

Not saying we're not capable of beating Walsall but they will be licking their lips to play us with our defence.

Look I admire your positive outlook but i am real and say it how it is. I hope we win on Saturday because we bloody need too.

We lack a leader! We lack discipline! We lack a goal scorer but hey let's all back the team on Saturday because we don't lack support!

    Saturday is a must win!

Not that anyone should need reminding but we have not won a league match this season when the opposition have scored...scary innit...?

Portsmouth at home in April was the last time we conceeded and won but until Peterborough & Plymouth away recently, we had failed to pick up a single point when we had conceded.

Watched the extended highlights and I thought Henry was guilty of losing his man twice for their equaliser and third goals. He needs to get upto speed quickly if he’s deserving of another contract.
