He's not along though. Mellor has been almost as bad, ditto for Ryan McGowan. NKP hasn't been far behind either.

Centre Back and Left Back very much needed.

 

Chicken is absolutely shocking without doubt, but even more worryingly is DH seems to rate him which is totally bizarre!!

Six months left on his contract and you have to think Hopkin will be looking for better.

I went to the game away at Hull when Holloway smashed in a screamer to win us the game.
Pretty much the only good thing he ever did for us though. He was dreadful. Chicksen is Ashley Cole by comparison.

 

You might be right but my mate Dowse is doing a cracking job managing Woking this season! But yup as a full back was not one of our best (just pray he never peeps at this forum )

I remember his first couple of games when various posters wrote what a good signing he was, and me thinking 'WHAT!!!!'

 

I was one of those posters and still stand by what I said at the time. Whilst not in the same class as Mezza (who lets not forget was probably the best left back in the division), in those first few games Chicksen put in more quality crosses than Mezza did in his whole career at city. That said unfortunately I think Chicksen went downhill after his injuries and is struggling at the moment.....but so is half the team

 

I get the feeling that since his potentially horrible collision in the first home game last season I think it was, that he's not as willing to get stuck in perhaps through fear. Can't really blame him to be fair

 

We're not in the position for players not willing to get stuck in.

How Wood isn't ahead of him is a crime

 

Well, Rahic is gone, so lets now assassinate individual players. Chicken the worst ever left-back? Nonsense, how about boost the lads confidence, we're in this shit together chasing the dizzy heights of 20th spot !

 

Drop him to the bench that might help boost his confidence and our performances at the same time.

 

The thing is when Wood plays we have shipped a ton of goals. Wood is great going forward but then he makes too many defensive errors

If we didn’t have a team full of several crap players like Chicksen we wouldn’t be bottom of the league. Clapping harder won’t help.

Rose tinted specs won’t help either. We have a few players who shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team and he’s one.
