First home win for DH. A landmark of some sort.

How on earth McGowan and Isherwood are going to get on next week is anyone's guess, but we'd better enjoy the win while we can.

Hurray! Couldn’t remember what a win felt like. Decent performance against a poor Oxford team but a win is a win and we need all the points we can get.

We finally look fit enough to compete for 90 minutes (100 today!) and seem to have some steal and organisation throughout the team.

I reckon he might move Caddis into the centre. Luton score goals for fun at home. something like 80+ since the start of last season.

 

If Akpan is fit I'd be tempted to stick him in at the back.

We slowed the game down well in the last twenty minutes. Good management.

 

It’s telling that Caddis, O’Brien and Henry have all become first team players immediately after signing. Shows the lack of quality we had in the squad.

It also gives me confidence that Hopkin knows what he wants in a player and, if given the chance, he should be able to improve the squad further in January

 

Agreed. Hulme. Considering DH hasn't had a transfer window yet, I think he's doing remarkably well.

 

He is clearly looking for a team of battlers. I don't think we will be winning any fair play awards in the near future.
