    Hi, I keep disabling all email notifications every day but they just keep firing through and spamming my mailbox. Is it worth me just blocking you or is there anything you can do at your side? Every time I post it seems to activate the emails again ?

    Or you could go into your preferences and disable it. Then if you get any just go to that thread and change it unwatched from watched.

    The auto setting is if you post it turns the thread onto watches and sends you an email for each post.

    I don't understand the answer, and I have the same question.
    Are "alerts" the same as "email alerts"? I've got the notifications set to "on" - thinking that is just the numbers next to the flag.
    I don't need emails aswell. How do I turn those off?

    You doing this on your phone? I kept disabling this on my phone with no luck. Got onto a desktop and switched it off and I've had no bother since.

    Ah, it's under "contact details" not "alert preferences".
    Changed it. Lets see if all is good now.
