    Once again the Corn Dolly will be running a coach to Accrington on 13th October, leaving the Corn Dolly at 10:45 stopping at The Peel Park Hotel which is close to the ground, it is CAMRA reg and has 6 guest beers, pie & peas available for £3, the initial cost is £16 but will reduce if there is enough interest.

    On the train for this one from Halifax....eldest getting train from Manchester Uni and meeting us there. Likely to be in The Commercial Inn, the Wetherspoon in centre of town....you know what you get with spoons.....have booked in the seats for this rather than the open terrace...

    Hi Dave. Any places on Dolly bus left? Just seen that rail strikes continue so would be bus from Halifax to Accy!! Shippers not leaving until 12.45 so no stop. Not watching without a few beers!! Wasn't Dolly where CTC73 ended up after Duchess closed? Thanks Ian.

    Yes,still seats available to Accrington,damned shame we aren't going into the game with at least a point from Sunderland and Scannel on the wing but things starting to look up.Will be a cracking stop at Peel Park Hotel,not the one on Otley Road BD3!! Give me a buzz on 07596156686,cost now £15 and will come down more if enough go.Trains continue to be a mess,you know it makes sense,join us Ian and you might be surprised who you see onboard from CTC73 days,those were the days....

    Yes they are playing silly buggers...2 hours between Halifax and Accy. Manchester to Accy nearly 2 hours...so have got 4 places on the Corn Dolly bus so should get to meet up Dave all being well....talk about some of those song choices....
