I am so sick of your excuses for fans who are genuinely concerned for our club. Please go and paddle your racist claims somewhere else.

 

They've turned the club around and it is accelerating towards league 2. That is why they are getting flack.

Under their stewardship, the last nine months have been a complete farce. I can't be bothered listing all the issues, they've been eloquently expressed numerous times on this board.

Yes, some muppets have used objectionable language relating to our owner's nationality. There is absolutely no need for that, and I don't want to be associated with that. However, implying that prejudice is the major factor is simply wrong.

 

I believe he/she/it is just looking for a responce to the ridiculous claims. I don't believe it believes it for a moment.

Remember when silly bastard Mellor claimed BFG's sacking of Kammy smacked of Racism.
Loved listening to BFG set about him live on radio. Up until it went pear-shaped I loved supporting this club under his stewardship.

He/she is obviously employed by Rahic to try and sidetrack the debate. Ridicule ppl who have a view that are club is in real trouble. Funny thing is all the fans clubbed together to rescue the club last time. I wonder why? Yes GR was a bugger but he took us to a place we only dreamt about.

 

I wouldn't bother either mate for there are at least 3 on here who will lambast you for spreading rumours.

 

Before the game I would have swapped Tuscany for Bloomfield Road and I certainly would at 5 pm, last 6 minutes or so a defensive nightmare.

 

For God's sake stop playing the race card it's pathetic. Are you by any chance 'George's Michael' who posted constant drivel in the T & A comments before it got locked?

 

He is trying to divert the debate away from Rahic and the debacle to Racism as the cause! It is all the racists fans that don’t like me. He is not incompetent just badly treated by the fans!

 

I’m not a huge fan of playing the race card, but given the stuff seen on twitter and Facebook there’s something there. It’s a minority, but there. And I’d wager those people aren’t on forums as well.

So why do you keep referring to it on here? It’s no good trying to back track here. I most certainly had enough of your racism taunts. I would never support racism on here or anywhere else, yet I come on here and you are here with your postings, nearly always trying to divert and suppress open discussion.

 

Not saying that at all. John writes a balanced article, thus the “not bad”.

What I picked up on was “Yet what marks the mood of the moment is the extent of disconnect between supporters and the club, all the more remarkable for the close bond that existed only 12 months ago.” which is related to what other supporters are saying and their reasoning behind it).

 

Yep decisions resulting in our club becoming a laughing stock might have something to do with it, run out of patience; yet you latch onto racism.

 

All im saying is part of it just doesn’t fit right. I can understand some fans frustrations, however when English owners take us from the Prem to League Two hardly anything is said, but when Foreign owners take us from league one to league one there’s protests planned etc. within 2 and a bit years. Just putting the other point of view there.

 

You do understand a handful of comments that could possibly be construed as 'racist' to suit an individuals agenda does not constitute a problem for the thousands of other fans who have grave concerns with our German owners?

 

I think the vast majority of fans on here are decent and fairminded and simply refer to them as our German owners at times because that is what they are - same way as we would say our Irish owners, our Japanese owners, our Dutch owners etc etc. I dont even think of their race when I make comments about my disappointment at their leadership, I do so because they are our owners and they, in my opinion, have made an almighty bodge up of things. Please stop using the race card as a cover for their inept performance in so many matters, and I am sure nearly every fan on this site hates any personal insults made against them and knows this does not help the cause - the cause being a justifiable despondency against their running of the club

One of the reasons I asked you when did you start supporting city was this. The context is entirely different; the last time our club was in trouble was extremely serious, we were literally minutes away from going into liquidation. Our Chairman GR, has gone on with what he described as his six weeks of madness, I think it was also his mind set and the way he conducted financial business. He was basically a gambler, he gambled on us staying in the Prem, and therefore plunged into an enormous debt in the hope that it would keep us in the Prem, it didn’t work. However, non of the fans knew that this was happening, and as soon as it came out, he more or less left. The Rhodes family picked up the challenge even though they had made a massive mistake in allowing GR to have full control and not even ask him about various things that happened, in other words took their eye off the ball, their excuse was ‘they trusted him’ and so did the fans. Not sure if my figures are right but collectively the Rhodes and Richmond took about £7/8 million in divs out of the club. Collectively we just got behind the club in our misery and worked hard to put it right. The Rhodes family mortgaged their house, in order to stave off liquidation and put much money back into the club than they took out. They also accepted their responsibility.

You are collapsing the fans reaction today with what happened then, but also before it all went pear shaped we had a wonderful time making progress against all the odds, yes it nearly costs us the club, in other words they had banked a fair bit of goodwill, plus they stayed to put it right, well as best they could.

This is completely different, this is owners who are rigidly sticking to a plan that is clearly not working, is putting our league status in jeopardy. The rumours about backroom staff low in morale and staff being removed, casually getting rid of players who’s only misdemeanour is to have supported the previous manager. Maybe because of last time, we will not stand by and let it happen again.

You can give you view that is entirely your business, but to accuse other fans of hidden racism on here is not on.

 

Can't understand why anybody would get upset because our German owners are referred to as being German. What a mad world we live in.
