I believe Tiffin are owned by Doug McLean who also owns loads of Bradford pubs (City Vaults/ Lord Clyde/ Ginger Goose/ Old Bank/ Headley Golf Club) and he is one of the key drivers behind getting Market Street pedestrianised. Looks like he's set up a new company for this called Tiffin Stadium Co.
Great that it's gone to a man/ company that has such belief in the City as a whole !!

Happy the catering has changed but surely at least somebody tried some of the food before signing a five year contract. I have no comment to make on the names of those hot food items. I literally do not know what to say. Did someone do some market research at a local nursery and a kid there came up with "Bantam Burger" ?!Stevay_b, bantamlad92, Bronco and 2 others like this. -

Burgers and hot dogs... Its initial concept has not bought me. You can stick a fancy slogan around it but it ain't working for me. Ill eat that sort of 'food' odd few times a year...
Was hoping the catering may have had a 'local cuisine ' style, with some Asian influences amongst

I like the fact it's a local company that's got the catering contract and their not a small organisation so stock levels shouldn't be a problem on match days.

I think the food and drink issue is largely irrelevant for me. I tend not to eat between meals and go to a local pub for a couple of decent pints pre-match. One important factor is to meet with a mixture of City fans, several who post on here, a few lurkers and others who are not involved in online City stuff. However I accept it is part of match day for many and is likely to increase uptake and satisfaction if the quality is good and the price reasonable.

We call it unimaginative, kids don’t.
Remember the days at the back of the Bradford End?
Ones choice was seabrook crisps, plain and cheese & onion. Meat and potato pies ( good), beef tea, Kit Kat’s and get this…pints of cider. Now that isn’t exactly Gordon Ramsey Offy?Inspector and Foghornleghorn like this. -

Good news but had to chuckle at the choice of wording in this paragraph!
The announcement follows feedback from supporters in an attempt to improve the quality of the products on offer at home games – the standard of food previously had come in for plenty of criticism.Hugh Jarse and Foghornleghorn like this. -

Think about this in a different way. What sells at footy matches?
Clearly this new venture must make money, so one sells what actually flies off the counter right?
It’s nice to have something different but smoked salmon and prawn bagels and baguettes would not make the sales and generate profit.
Yes a wild difference but you said you want local influences…..
So stalyse a menu that will sell?
Meanwhile give it a try before being critical. ?Bronco and Fools Gold like this.
