Yes it surprised me I'd have him around 5'10/11" at best, it would be interesting to see how tall Zac Hadi is.

I'm not sure insurance companies would pay if someone had a serious injury and the football association says "well, we didn't think it was safe but they wanted to play anyway". Players would need to sign waivers before starting the match.

 

I was stuck in Barrow for another 5 hours after the game was called off. I was furious but it clearly was not the fault of Barrow FC or any of their officials.

I was with Edinho. We’d booked trains, giving a bit of time for a pint after the game leaving at 7:02.

We asked about changing trains and the girl at Barrow said - I’m happy to let you through but be advised if the conductor chooses not to be as understanding then they will charge you full ticket replacements. Given we were checked twice between Preston and Barrow on the way and then again at Barrow we didn’t fancy that risk!
Barrows not the most pleasant looking of places but the people (and club) were really good

Brad Halliday and Callum Kavanagh are around the same height, bout 5ft 9ins
Cook is a bit taller than me at 6ft 1ins.
Zak Hadi is really tall.
Gotta be 6ft 6.
Still not fully developed yet.
Watched him loads in training.
I've got real hopes for him as he looks the real deal

I have also heard of a few fans who went to the next level and spent Friday en route (Kendal, places like that) so they had even more expense to absorb. The ref wants shooting, end of

 

Playing devils advocate, what if the game had gone ahead, tight 0-0 with few chances and the ball stuck in that patch, just as it did for Stubbs against Wycombe . We lose 1-0 , or one of our players gets injured because of the sandy bit,would our fans be happy and say that's the luck of the bounce.
As bloody annoying as it was , it probably worked in our favour . More time to rest after the slog on Weds and more chance for injured players to recover.
The late call off is the issue here. Would the ref have know about this prior to arriving, surely Barrow could have mentioned the day before and got the match ref in to have a look, or had they practised all week to stick the ball in that patch, knowing our players might be a little fatigued.
