Such grand plans nearly always end up in only "pain" for the fans.

I'd join in on this 'Rupp Out 2.0' if anyone could give us the stats that showed, on the whole, clubs generally benefited by getting rid of the relevant evil owner and them been replaced by someone better.

Someone better than an owner that's provided a Top 7 budget and often Top 4 for virtually every season he's been here.

In League 2, it's about the quality of the manager. And Sparks four L2 'failures' are no worse than the four Rhodes/Lawn has before Parky came along.

    Often top 4 budget?

Who really knows what our budget is, and its not provided by him its what's generated from the commercial side, self funding not owner funding.

I don't think you'd believe it even if The Pope gave you the figures.

Other than Wrexham, Salford and perhaps Stockport - name me a team who will have a demonstrably higher playing budget.

I thought everyone was impressed with the four teams that went up, because their budgets were no better than ours and in we were told that Stevenage and Carlisle's were far worse?

So last season which clubs had such better budgets that we think that, budget wise, we can do better?

I've no problem with Rupp going. It least it makes the boards amusing, given the naivety of the comments - because clearly plenty think the grass is greener on the other side.

It’s not about what and who can do what. Rupp is a shite owner that’s failed us.

Also, you can’t compare Rhode/Lawn to Sparks also. Sparks has also failed the club.

Look, you enjoy sitting back watching the mess of the club. Like to think now 17/18k fans have opened their eyes and it’s time for change.

Because we've picked cr@p Managers in the past we should be happy having cr@p Managers now?
We should be happy because we were in this position 12 years ago?

That's a strange mindset to have. Shouldn't we want to improve?
That's what the rest of the footballing world is trying to do.

When you stand still you go backwards.

You end up in the NL eventually.

Fans need to look around and see how the other half live.

They'll fine that few footie clubs are happy with their board / owners.

Let's remember that Luton and Brighton - those clubs now held up as examples, went through shit for many a season.

Burnley, got all kinds of moans from their fans for been two safe during the 2000's when they were the only club constantly in the black. Doesn't seem a bad model now.

Hoyle, ended up been disliked by the Terriers. Until he bailed them out to the tune of £40m, that is!!

Genuine hats off to Brentford - who have been ambitious and go-ahead ever since Greg Dyke first bought them and I think Rotherham's Tony Stewart always deserved praise - but I can't think of many others.

You think what you like Fordy. I'd put my house on the vast majority of our 18K fans, realising that financially we're not doing that badly.

Newcastle fans loved to moan about Ashley. That was before they became the most attractive club in The Premiership to buy.

I'm a realist Fordy, not a romantic. Until the ground is sorted, no-one better will be interested.

    Who's "happy"?

You're misunderstand the fans who have no interest in Rupp going, as been "happy" with him.

Name me 40 clubs who are "happy" with their owners.

I don't mean to be insulting, but these are childish emotions. Reminds me of a couple of weeks ago when Arteta had that rant when he didn't have a clear case for any of his moans.

So why are we 19th and now in our fifth consecutive season in league 2? Somebody must be failing in their duties somewhere?

It's not childish, it's 7 years of rubbish.
It's not working, over 7 years.
This is not kneejerk. This is 7 years leading to 18th in League Two.

Agree. But that doesn't mean we throw the baby out with the bath water.

Sparks is in his last chance saloon. All I point out is that the Rhodes/Lawn L2 era were just as poor (and arguably worse) with their McCall/Taylor/Jackson choices as Sparks has been with Sellars&Trueman/Adams/Hughes.

It's shite. There was nothing worse than watching that first half on Saturday. But let's concentrate and see what the new manager does first.

A win in the piss pot trophy and some conveniently forget that we are in the bottom six of the division. A win is always welcome but for christ sake i wish some would stop trying to sugar coat shit. I'm prepared to give Alexander time to change things round but believe me i can't wait till the day Rupp is out of the door.

Well we reached the play-off final in the first season. Who knows what would have happened if Billy Clark scored and Millwall weren't given an offside goal.

    But I largely agree.

However, as with all these things - you have to be confident that we can get better. And 18th in L2 with no ground ownership, indicates to me that realistically we can't.

What could happen is that Rupp, gets pissed off with the hassle and sells to anyone who flashes their knickers at him.

So you're happy for Rupp to be out regardless of who we're sold to?

How far has this club dropped when we are trying top rate who has been the shittest owners/CEOs? Graham Alexander has my full support but i ain't forgetting that the people currently running this club have turned us into a recurring joke.

Something's got to give. Whether that is Sparks or Rupp.
Madness is to keep doing the same things and expecting a different result.

I'm not praising Rupp. My point is that you and others want him out, but don't seem bothered who replaces him as long as he goes.

I don't like Rupp's lack of enthusiasm for us, but I'm pleased the club's on a stable financial footing. The latter is far far more important than the former and would have to be preserved.

We are all pleased the club is financially stable.
However, something has to change at the club. The lack of strategy around Manager's and Player's is so poor.
