    Due dilligence CrB checks etc can be done in 7 days if you get specialists involved. Such things are done in parallel with recruitment. Either before interview, or after . Ours if run after the contracts were agreed were always “ Subject to CrB and employment checks” . That leaves the door open, for later “discovery”.

    He was the one that said second interviews have been cancelled - he didn't get that off here. He's not claiming to know who has got the job but has a source who he seems to trust, particularly in respect of Artell being out of the running. It could even be Artell himself - he was the one that interviewed him a while back on his podcast.

    Well, he was sent off a few times for violent conduct, beat up his wife (alllegedly) and stubbed a cigar in the eye of a young player. I don't think he'd get very far threatening Andy cook or say Jamie walker, so if you're relying on him to frighten players into improved performance I don't think you've really thought it through
