    Even if we were relegated, which I don't think for one minute will happen, I reckon we would still shift 10000 season tickets on novelty value alone

    Loss of football league grants and tv shared revenue of hundreds of thousands of pounds not available to non leage plus a reduction in sponsors and advertising income while our expenditure would be the same or more as the ground expenditure increases each year
    BTW the view that 15000 would turn up to see us play Borham wood or Solimol Moors etc is very optimistic

    Hopefully it all does not happen

    What’s the issue with Alexander? Seems to have never really failed anywhere other than mk dons but they was top of league at start, promotion with Fleetwood, took Scunthorpe to play offs then was sacked with them 5th. Salford promotion and EFL trophy final( covid so didn’t go ahead) and Gary Neville said he should never have sacked him also left them 5th in league ?

    I detect a sense of frustration on this thread with the delay in the appointment of our new manager. That seems to coincide with an increase in the goading of or personal attacks aimed at some posters by a small number of others. By all means when another poster has a different opinion then challenge that but please don't resort to a personal attack on the poster.

    Just to remind everybody, this is an extract from KK's Site Etiquette thread ....

    "Attacking, goading or ridiculing other members is not acceptable and will not be tolerated

    I am trying to run a self moderating forum as much as possible , If you disagree with a members post or comment feel free to make your point without abuse or derogatory personal remarks

    There is no need for it , and it adds nothing to the thread in concern"
