Next manager

Very few ever go from club to club replicating their success.

McDonald doesn’t want to be a manager yet so it’s only Cowley and from what we have read there seems to be some doubt about whether he was actually offered it

Seen it over 40 odd years in business. You see em coming into management thinking it’s an absolute cakewalk, only to fall flat on their faces in short order.

The best………Those straight from business schools of management who can read spreadsheets in their sleep but struggle to boil an egg. Their first interactions with unions was always hilarious.

 

Parker confirmed we are close to an appointment in this mornings post, saying that the next teamsheet won't have the word 'caretaker' written on it as the search stretches into it's 5th week.

I saw it this morning but can’t seem to find it now it’s probs not him but on first glance quite similar

 

Depends what success is for the club.

Not ever team has expectations of going up. They might want too but really they can’t.

The direct impact of a manager is over stated in my opinion. 90% of what defines a managers success, is the quality and character of the playing squad they have. Some truly exceptional or awful managers will exaggerate or dilute the quality of the players they have, and managers obviously have a role to play in terms of shaping a squad and its mindset. But if the framework a manager finds himself in is broken, few will be able to navigate it.

 

Looks most likely to be Artell or Scott Brown to me.
