Sorry Tallin, where are the facts , it’s conjecture and speculation . Just because I related a true story this morning, don’t think I was in anyway linking it to the club. I was linking it to applicants “behaviours” ( Which as you know are highly relevant at any interview) .

The difference between him and Barton is Jamie was a reformed character and he helps other people falling into crime. Whereas Barton is forever transgressing

Away from city Evans does it everywhere and Adams does it at Morecambe, but we didn't like it here. Because we are family club and like to stick to our morals.

Sticking to our morals as got us really far hasn't it.

Would I cope with paying more for my season ticket because 3,000 people got on their high horse and stopped coming because Mr X got the job and got us promoted, abso bloody lutely I would.

And trust me, they'd soon all come running back in league one

 

I see Nigel Adkins the Technical director at Tranmere ( that worked well didn’t it) has now been made manager

 

He does a lot of good charity work too.

Anyone whose musical hero is Morrissey will do for me too!

 

Especially after he publicly declared a strong interest in the position when it became available.

Sadly, it seems the 'hearsay' from our more credible supporter sources doing the round is correct - the state of the club was enough to put a decent candidate off.

 

In relative terms I'd say Parkinson, Kamara and Jewell were all amenable and likeable characters. I don't think they are the best examples to emphasise your point. They are light years away from someone like Barton.

 

Don't get the fascination with the fat buffoon

 

So abusive behaviour towards a member of staff at a football club where one is a guest is acceptable. Is that what your are suggesting. Surely not? Did that in the street and he’d get arrested or knocked out ?

 

Well if it’s going to be Barton, bring it on. All his teams certainly fight for each other and seem to have a great togetherness. I for one am all for it. We’ve tried everything else and failed miserably

I'm on board with the idea that our manager doesn't need to be Mother Theresa but Barton is a stretch too far for me. Not saying I'll resent getting success with him. I'd just rather it be anyone else.
