Next manager

I’m pretty much the same but it still hurts.

Even with a new guy or girl, we still have players not up to it, players brought in to play one position and then shoehorned into another. No one to put the ball in the net if Cook doesn’t, one keeper, slow defenders and injured players. Unless the new manager has been watching us over a few weeks, he’s going to start with pretty much the team as we’ve seen over the last few weeks and probably in the same formation as Hughes, with the same poor levels of fitness until he can get them up to speed which won’t make him popular. I haven’t even looked at the table or results because this season has been such a letdown. Nothing from the club again despite seeing how bad we’ve been over the last 2 games. How much longer are we supposed to wait for an update?

 

If we did go for Heckingbottom (of course he had to be sacked first) I'd think him and Stuart would come as a package.

 

I really should care who the next manager is but as you have said, look at the "tools" they will have to work with. Shudders.

If Paul Daniels was still alive I would give him the job.

The last time our club had any sort of success we played long ball football, we got results and plenty of goals and goalmouth mouth incidents.

 

I was going to go to the Man City u21’s on Tuesday but I just can’t be arsed just like some of the players especially the first half yesterday.

 

Just Stu on his own is my preferred but of course wouldn’t say no. A bit beyond our pay grade Dave perhaps?
