I think the players did well for 4 matches because they thought McDonald had a genuine chance of getting the managers job. But something behind the scenes has convinced them that he has no chance. Maybe a takeover in the offing? That would also explain the delay in appointing.

 

I’m not sure what is going on at the minute. Seems a long time to appoint someone but it has only been 3.5 weeks!

Think the takeover rumours are just wishful thinking but hope I’m wrong. I prefer to believe we just don’t have a clue what we are doing or any idea of a strategy moving forward!
