I wonder if Stevenage would let us talk to Steve Evans.

 

And also had success.

 

Its a strange one similar to the Parky situation when Sheffield United wanted to talk to him although Parky had done far more at Bradford City at the time that Evans has at Stevenage, if he was a target I'd assume the football jungle drums would have made it known to him, maybe a phone call to inquire if he'd be interested I'm sure finding his mobile wouldn't be a problem.
We know Ryan speaks to Darragh MacAnthony on a regular basis and Darragh waxes lyrical about Evens getting us promoted but if he is in the frame the club have done a great job keeping it inhouse, but I don't believe Evans is a candidate.

 

They can stop us officially, unofficially it’s been done hundreds of times. Managers just resign and pop up somewhere else overnight. MKD ! I’m not suggesting we do in this case though. I’m not that desperate.

What's unrealistic about the pressure

 

Most managers have some form of success and failure. Parky did. It is a bit hit and miss at our level, Adams springs to mind.

 

It doesn’t matter who they appoint none of those who are free will get me off my seat. Might be doing a great disservice to them, but just so fed up with merry go round. Until we have a proper plan from Rupp of where we are going who’s in the managers chair is irrelevant.

 

He must be the cheapest option.....

Dean Holden would be a disaster, he hasn’t exactly done much in his career.

 

Mark my words the cheapest option on the market. He’ll be gone by Easter. Club is a mess, they’re gambling in my opinion another poor appointment or an uninspiring one will impact season tickets next year. More and more people are getting fed up

This should be the last appointment by Sparks. If. It turns out bad again he must go. We cannot afford for him to choose Lemons and continue to fail. If he fails again choosing he must go as well for the future of the club

 

For me (and I suspect others) it's not the result as all teams lose games. Its the abject performance and this implies a poor, unbalanced squad. No midfield replacement for Smallwood or striker to replace Cook yet we have 6 centre halfs - most of whom are not good enough. Not one corner?

Thats why most scream about a result.

 

Dean Holden? No thanks. 33.9% win rate if you exclude his 100% record as caretaker at Stoke.

 

All I see of Holden's management at clubs is a run of bad results and him getting the sack.
