Each to their own. I would rather win 1-0 than get absolutely stuffed which they have witnessed twice already at home

 

There's something confusing though, Jon.

We were told we didn't need to change a lot this season and we didn't need a lot of investment in the team yet 6 of the starting 11 are new and we're playing an entirely different formation to last season so it just feels like last season didn't happen and we're starting from scratch again. It just confuses me.

Why not stick with last season's 4-2-3-1 now we've added better attacking right/left sided defenders and the extra talent of Smith, Pattison and McDonald?

It feels like we're less solid than last year and about the same ability to create chances and score than last season so there doesn't seem to be any advantage to this new formation.

It's not about one game. I've seen enough of Hughesball to judge. The only thing that gave us credibility last season was Cook having the season of his life, and plenty of his goals were from set pieces, pens, or solos. We will not go up from this league under Hughes and with the backing he's had, these performances aren't good enough.

 

Bored with this game. I feel for the fans who travel in numbers to watch this absolute rubbish. Very poor game playing into the hands of Adams. Feels like it's gonna be a 1-0 home win

That's not a 'flip', it's acknowledging the lull that we're in and not throwing the towel in like a quitter.

We do several passes which gets us nowhere. Attacking wise dreadful absolutely nothing.

 

What makes me laugh is looking at this team and the total lack of quality in key positions and there are still fans who think this is a good squad and we will achieve things. I mean Christ judge with your eyes this lot are dire.
