Watched on iFollow. He saved the header. My initial reaction was he should have held it, but realistically it’s a good save which you’d hope a defender clears. A higher league keeper holds it IMO, but at this level i saw it as a decent save.

You're right about them being different players. One seemingly able to control and pass a football. The other not. osadebe playing like present day Lawrence ATM. Would rather Hughes himself came on.

I think there's maybe something in that challenge at crawley when he went off for a bit, then got subbed later.

Hughes said after his knee locked and cook was really worried about it.

Kelly was great on Saturday. Are we now dropping players, because you think they've had a stinker. We've just played a team that created just under 20 chances at Walsall, to less shots on target than we had.

Great point. Would have been three if Cook had his shooting boots on.

I assume he means the tactics once we got a goal ahead, which were the same as the tactics we employed against Colchester and the same in most of the 13 games we threw away last year.

We get ourselves ahead, however then think that the job is done.

Look at the difference in performance from the 47th minute tonight to the the 78th minute compared to that from minute 79 onwards. It's a joke.

We scored a goal and put our self in a great position against a side devoid of confidence and key players. Yet we then sat back and let them get back into the game, whilst in that 30 minute spell we offered bugger all and we were basically shit, if you want to be honest.

It took them scoring for the players and staff to think Christ we've done it again and got their fingers out there arses and bossed the last ten minutes and should have won.

Why did it take the equaliser to wake everyone up?[/QUOTE]

Crawley just stuck 2 past MK Dons, though, and have had an unusually good start.

Conceding 1 today is not bad at all.

I can't recall a manager this century, that changed the entire shape of a team. How's that "stubborn"?

You seem to forget that results have been OK and so there has no reason to change back. And if/when it starts to work, it will be give us many advantages as the season progresses.

I wrote elsewhere recently. What happened to judging a manager after 15 matches?

I hate how we sit back after scoring I am more and more thinking it’s down to fitness. However tonight was always going to be a tough game and the point is a good one

Yep, and every team we play - even whoever wins the league - will have significant weaknesses.

It's okay to have weaknesses. It's okay to not be great at everything, because these are fourth tier players.

All I ask is that we're competitive and push hard for an automatic promotion spot, and that we're involved in entertaining football.

I honestly don't see how anyone can say that wasn't entertaining, or that it proves we won't be there at the end of the season.

People are having ago at Cook for his new contract and his weight on social media. I think it’s just confidence and probably didn’t help that his wife was responding to people last week which had probably caused a few to slag him off to upset her again.

    Tonight was a decent performance.
We look a lot better going forward than last season as we are more direct, which is what fans asked for.
Smith is starting to perform, Pattison brings goals, Macdonald improved on Saturday.
Cook is for some reason either unfit or doubting himself.
    Lewis is making mistakes.
Tighten these players up and we are fine.
The criticism tonight is very harsh.
We were there and could appreciate what was happening more than the TV viewing fans.
My only wish tonight was we had knoyle and Touray.
Now that would make us dead certs for promotion.

How many times did happen last season ????
Letting the score and then reacting when it happens ............is it so difficult to change it before the inevitable happens ?????? He was dicing with it on Saturday and he's done it again tonight.............. still never mind folk will big it up as a great point rather than viewing the bigger picture that his tactics are the same crap that cost us last season and will no doubt cost us again this term

But was the entertainment because Stockport play at 100mph and our defence looks weak? I don’t think our attacking play was at all entertaining but can’t argue that overall, the game was fun to watch

Ah but Parkinson's style of football is dark age stuff, well if nothing else their fans can't say their boring to watch 16 goals in three games, that's without Mullins.

Doesn't matter. The facts are that we had two very good chances late - both of which should have been taken.

But you ignore the facts and laughably suggest that they weren't proper chances. The fact is that when we could, we were in their half / or box.

I'd go away and watch how the four promoted teams played for a majority of their matches. You may be surprised that it wasn't the great controlled footie, you seem to think you can get in L2. As Wrexham are finding out, with 8 goals conceded in 3 matches.

He's been injured since the Crawley game when he came down awkwardly on his left knee. If you watch the highlights from Accy and the game on Saturday he's gone over and down a few times on it. But no one to really take his place....and his confidence will be shot after tonight. He almost looked like he was in tears walking over to the City fans at the end...
