That wouldn't make any sense as it is still in the international break. England u19s play the same day as do Australia so at most 1 player will be back.

 

Bloody hell booked train tickets as well ages ago , won't get money back for these on top of the extortionate ticket they charged , only hope now is they call another train strike doubt I'll get to the rearranged game due to work , not happy

These are the things that the EFL don’t care about when sanctioning such unjustified postponements at very short notice.
They should have refused their request.

Just can't see it been anything other than this date, perhaps they could kick off at 8 giving away fans time to travel in the rush hour from Bradford but I won't hold my breath.
It roughly about 1 hour 40ish 2 hours tops from Bradford but that's with no traffic jams last time I went.

 

There's no way it will be anything else as we won't agree to play on the Tuesday before Easter and the Thursday after would mean moving Rochdale and Swindon back 24 hours

 

Basically they’ve created a dilemma that could have been avoided by refusing the postponement request.
Crewe have nothing to play for and could have fielded a team even with 3 players missing.

 

Why would they play a match without their first choice goalkeeper and defender if they don't have to?

 

Can they refuse it? I thought it was an automatic thing if the club submitted the paperwork then it happened

 

Obviously I'd have preferred it to have been played next Saturday but we still have Derbyshire, Osadebe,Nevers,Oliver and Esia out maybe by the time this rearranged game comes around some might be ready to play.
I wouldn't mind but after watching Crewes last two games and seeing the kid Beadle flapping at crosses I was quite looking forward to us bombing crosses in.

Stevenage played their usual game but the other game was against Salford and they didn't bring Mat Smith on until the 70th minute, he was coming out and getting nowhere near the ball.

 

Monday 1st would be better, bank Holiday

 

There used to be a full schedule of fixtures on May Day bank holiday, alas no longer.

 

What happens if one of the 3 players gets injured today and has to withdraw from the international game. Is the game back on again?

 

In fairness, Simon Eastwood played for the England u19s before coming here and at that time he was the worst professional goalkeeper I'd ever seen.

 

So play on Saturday at Northampton then Crewe on Monday?
Please be realistic
