Cricket t20 World Cup

Unbelievable performance yesterday. Rashid was excellent. The biggest ever T20 World Cup partnership between Buttler and Hales was outstanding.

However, there's a very strong possibility that the final won't happen, given the weather forecast, which would be a massive disappointment:

Pakistan will be a great final if it goes ahead, won’t be easy but if it’s half the final New Zealand 2019 was or West Indies 2016 then it’ll be a cracker.

 

What a game and performance, Pakistan have a great bowling line up so it was never going to be easy but a great performance.

 

Agree at one time it looked like Pakistan had turned the tide, but Stokes steadied the ship and help England get over the line for a great result.

 

Great Sunday morning watch that was.

I thought England were in control throughout and kept their nerve at the end in a cauldron of noise with the vast majority supporting Pakistan.

Special mention to Rashid, Curran and Stokes.

Let's hope England Football team can give us as much to cheer over the coming month!

 

Thought England were going for an unwanted trifecta this weekend, following on from the Women losing the Rugby final and the men losing the Rugby League semi-final- so refused to watch until the very end when the result was never in doubt!

First time a nation has held both 20 and 50 over titles at the same time so well done Champions.
Been a good summer/autumn for English teams as the Women are Euro football champions and the Mens Under 18 are also Euro football champions.

Terrific performance and result today. Stokes was excellent but 3-12 from Curran in a T20 final is insanely good.
Mind you, it might have been a bit different if Afridi had been there bowling yorkers at the death.
