I was waiting for someone to hit the nail on the head.

Take any prize from the top shelf.

That’s a risk any club takes when signing any player on any length of contract. Why should Cookie be any different?

The his second goal in the game recently where he swept it in the net without bringing it under control was extremely difficult. It would have been easy to mistime or put in Row Z!

I was with you with regards not letting Cook go, he got little service under Adams and still finished leading scorer and the way he's going this season he'll finish up our leading scorer again, not sure Nahki could claim that, if Cook does finish leading goal scorer its probably back to the Bobby Campbell days to have one player being leading scorer three season on the trot, hope I haven't jinx him.

He's on for 12 at this rate, so a slight improvement will do for me!

I think says more about Rupps tenure though than the individual posters opinions (yes I was one).

There is still no sign whatsoever that we will be in a position to make a competent move for Hughes' replacement.

He's here because he applied and it was a no brainer. Yes Rupp has backed him, but I'm sure Wagmi would have made the same appointment.

    Who wouldn't?

But if the next step isn't so obvious, if someone massive doesn't step forward, well... We're back to square one, wouldn't you say @Kevin1954@Kevin1954?

These guys are absolutely bonkers. Are they holding a raffle for players to take part in the fa cup LOL
How can these players be registered to play anyhow, first round November, transfer window closed till January, unless they are classed as free agents. They have not made the best start to the league season and need to concentrate on football , not gimmicks to try and raise a few quid.

Sorry JB I don’t understand your point. In favour of this charade of bitcoin ownership or not? I’m not.

I’m comparing “funny money” schemes against real money schemes. Which is the safest? At the moment even fruit loops like Alex Jones had ditched the former.

Yeah I get it Kevin but such was the disillusionment with Rupp that many fans were more than happy to gamble on the "funny money" scheme so clearly, the safer route for us, didn't appear to everyone to be the correct one.

I think Andy Cook has well and truly earned a new contract extension offer.

I hope they don't leave it too late and p**s him off to looking elsewhere.

Despite what Fordy would have us believe, I think he would do a job for us even if we are playing in league 1 next season

I don't think there would have been a cat in hells chance of Hughes applying for the job if WAGMI had taken over. He was desperate for a job but not that desperate.

He applied when we had a disinterested foreign owner and rookie CEO, I don't see why he wouldn't have applied under interested American owners.

After applying though, not before which I believe is Jon's point.
