Yippee, there might some left then, I wonder if there’ll be pay on the day? I might still get to visit Salford, makes the trip home worth doing.

Still not sure they have them banding levels right. It seems quite a high cut off.

    1030 plus points.
    990 plus points.
    Season tickets.

It's said it's worked out by allocation levels and how many are expected to fit each bracket but it still seems odd. What would be the minimum for a season ticket holder to hold, about 500?

I know there has to be a cut off somewhere but someone with 980 points would be miffed being put in the same bracket as someone with 500

A season ticket holder, for last season and this would have got:
    2021/22 Season Ticket: 150 points
    2021/22 League Matches: 460 points
    2022/23 Season Ticket: 150 points
2022/23 First 4 League Matches: 80 points (Stevenage points haven't been added yet)

    TOTAL 840 points.

I'm not sure the cut off is that high to be honest, but having 980 points and being dumped in the free for all section isn't ideal.

150 for a season ticket + 23 x 20 = 610 would be the base line for a season ticket only last season.
    150 for a season ticket + 5 x 20 = 250 would be the base line for a season ticket this season.

So the minimum that anyone would have being a season ticket holder this and last season will be 860.

So to fall in the bracket to buy a ticket before the free for all you would require an extra 130 points. If you went to all cup games 3 x Pizza trophy, 1 x FA cup and 2 x League Cup you would at this stage only be 10 points shy of being in that bracket, and thats without any kind of membership or previous away priority scheme. Those 10 points could have been obtained by attending the two friendlies we have had v Derby or Sunderland, so techincally you could have made the cut without stepping foot away from Valley Parade or even buying a membership.

Yeah hands up on that one, I'd omitted the 150 points for purchasing the season tickets and just counted up the 20 points per home game

Your the same points as myself I rang the ticket office to confirm my points were correct after some had said theirs had increased, he took my details and said my 980 points were correct yet I've purchased tickets for Tranmere and Mansfield since I last looked at my loyalty points, ah well looks like it will have to be a membership card after all to boost my total.

I have far more than 980, this example was to show that figure is actually obtainable without setting foot outside Valley Parade.

Bugger, last minute decisions. Went to Tranmere but last minute decision, so no loyalty points. On 970 points, oh for them extra 20 points:joy:

Still, going to Sutton and hopefully Orient and already done Colchester (live in Bradford)..

Don't get at ticket, no big deal. Looking to take in Oldham v Wrexham when we are at Harrogate

There is little reason to miss any game if you really want to watch it. Most grounds have four sides

Is a ridiculous concept. Loyalty points should maybe roll over for a couple of years and then you continuously lose a years worth as they expire.

That way the loyalty scheme rewards people attending recently and not someone who's been going for 15 years and only done 3 away games in the last 5.

Take your tranmere ticket to the ticket office and they'll add you 20 points on. You'd then have enough for a Salford ticket.

Well, a lesson learned. Read the whole article. Too late for the Salford game, as I'm working all day but I'll put on later for the ad hoc loyalty points

    Totally agree .
My lad who’s 7 probably does 5/6 aways a season . How is he ever going to gain enough points in 10/12 years to go on his own ? With points been ‘forever’ it creates a closed gang . Young fans not been able to attend away games will have a huge knock on effect on home attendances and a generation of fans will become disillusioned with the club . I fully appreciate the need to do something to reward loyalty but the club have this totally wrong . It’s not thought out at all . They have rushed it even thou they had 12 month to run threw ever eventually. I’ve said it numerous times on here but the method england fans use is fair and something the club should look at . They use a 70/30 split . 70 % of allocation too top point scorers and then 30 % to the rest to give a decent amount of people of breaking into that top 70 if the points aren’t been used . It may not
Be a issue now but in 5 years time it will . People who might not even attend anymore May be that far in front people carnt catch them. The whole Bands stuff is bollocks too , why not just say we have a 1000 tickets work out how many points people have down to a 1000 and then say your guaranteed one you have 2 days to get one after that there on sale to season tickets holders . This staggered BAND A/B/C/D Is just a waste of time

Didn't England Travel Club use to use never ending points but have since changed the system due to all the reasons stated. You would think a bit of research would have gone into this before launch

I think the points earned during a season should carry over to the next but the previous seasons points should then drop off.
This ensures the current crop of away travellers are protected but allows new away fans to start building up points

If you miss a game due to holiday/family/health reasons, do you lose 20 points per match, despite paying for a Season Ticket?
