Loyalty Points & Priority for Away Matches

Went last night, got given a ticket and then bought one on for my lad

I went last night and couldn't be arsed asking about how many points I should be getting when I bought my tickets. Bring back away priority tickets.

 

Plus Hull City too (if my maths are correct)

 

So the cub announce 20 points for attending PJT game. What a joke.
Someone attending the Hull, Blackburn, Wednesday home games costing £45 in total will earn double the points of someone travelling to Barrow, Colchester, Hartlepool costing £60 in tickets plus hundreds of pounds in travel costs.

 

Surely you'll have been and got tickets for the Hull and Blackburn game, so why are you moaning, and you will have points for the away games on top.

This allows you to be front in the queue for tickets which is what you wanted all along.

You’re right, it doesn’t affect me but I’m thinking of the fans who can’t always attend midweek games due to work commitments and those who live out of the area that won’t usually come to a PJT group game.
I stand by my opinion that away loyalty points should only be given for attending away games.
It’s a backhanded way of forcing someone’s hand into attending a competition that nobody cares about.
The club could use this strategy each and every time they want to promote an event by awarding points for attending it.

 

No it’s about loyalty and you can show loyalty by attending unpopular matches

 

Let's me honest, most people who want tickets for one off games are banking on a big cup draw. Maybe Man City, Liverpool or Newcastle being drawn in the cup. So why shouldn't those who went to earlier rounds be given some reward for attending the less than glamour ties.

I like you have got tickets to both league Cup games, so why shouldn't merit be added to that attendance.

In theory if we pulled out Newcastle away people would be climbing over each other for tickets, as it stands we will be lucky to sell the number of tickets we would have been given for such a tie at our own ground for the game we have.

 

I do agree with you that fans attending earlier cup rounds should automatically get a ticket for later rounds if they want one.

And I’m saying that even though I might not get a ticket as I really don’t give a toss about the PJT.
I wouldn’t even bother with the final. It’s dogshit.

 

Going to the PJT should be rewarded with even more points because only the loyalist of fans will attend. I'd go as far to say if you attend every game of the PJT then you automatically go above everyone else on the ladder.

 

And from those away games City earn about 5% commission whereas they generate more from the home matches so it is good business to give those extra points.

 

Hmmm so if they put on a posh event at Xmas in the McCall suite costing say £150 per head and added 100 loyalty points to those who attend, is that ok just so long as the club are making money.

 

yep. They did it last year where you got points for the away card and the 1903 club or whatever it was

It’ll be the rest of you bitching about how many extras you have to buy and the cost of those extras just for any small chance of getting popular away game tickets

I’m not fussed by any of the points thing. Never missed a City match I’ve wanted to go to yet can not imagine it starting anytime soon either

 

Only one I wanted to go to but missed was Chelsea away, and James Mason actually offered us tickets from the players allocation, but we'd already booked to go away in a huff.

I'm not interested in the bum fight for Harrogate away tickets, which is probably the only game I'd almost certainly miss out on, so yeah, I too couldn't care less.
