Just watched the highlights. The defending is criminal, after 5 years of shite it’s getting very very tedious is all this.

I think your comments would have a lot more merit if you had posted them before the season had started , as it is it looks like you are simply being reactivate to a disappointing start. But its just 2 matches! Of course the team and Hughes in particular still have everything to prove but at least give it 6 games before we start to make calls as to whether they are good enough

Going to be a long one. On paper who can we beat? Donny spoilers and Barrow shipyard boys well organised and direct. Sound like all of the teams in our division.

I think the smattering of boos was down to shock that we could equalise in the 6th minute of added time and still be dumb and brittle enough to leave with nothing!

I can't agree Tony last two seasons when he has been our leading scorer they were mostly from a starting 11, 60 or so minutes of giving the opposition defenders a hard time then IMO it's better for the likes of Oliver Harrett or Young to take over having said that it's early days we aren't creating enough chances for the front men.

Stats on iFollow after the game were 4 successful crosses from 21 attempts which means that we either need to improve the quality of our crossing or find another attacking method that we're better at.

Hughes says we weren’t good enough and we’re to easy to play against.

You have had all preseason to make sure that’s this isn’t the case . Sorry but don’t buy it. Surely you will have done your homework and see how opposing teams would set up. It’s your job to make sure this hasn’t happened. Donny and Barrow. Or maybe is the injuries we have is it !!

Has there been any indication how long walker likely to be out for. Heard it's a knee problem hopefully nowt too serious or mite have to dip into the loan market.injuries to key players already ain't good news.

That’s what I saw last week instead of whacking a ball in early so the defenders aren’t set ............ we go back out to give them time to deal with a cross

Where did I suggest hoofball? I suggested playing out from the back like we are but at a quicker pace with wingers attacking fullbacks and creating chances for strikers by persistently getting the ball into the box or like Young did yesterday, cutting in and forcing the keeper into a save which gifted Cook a goal.
    No hoofball involved

No, your point of a club ‘owning’ things is moot.
It doesn’t fecking matter one bit.

Exactly! What were the friendlies for?
We played fecking Threlkeld, Kelleher and Foulds in every game. How is that allowing our preferred starting XI to gel? Why do we have to accept it takes 5-10 games for that to happen?

We played Foulds as Ridehalgh was injured. Kelleher and Threlkeld were given game time to put them in the shop window to find them new clubs.

Well Threlkeld still here robbing a wage.
The only thing it achieved was to show other clubs how shit he is.

Yes. Hughes referred to Walker's knee injury in his post match interview. He said that the injury hadn't settled down as yet (whatever that means) and Walker was seeing a consultant early this coming week for a better assessment. As a minimum, it's likely that he will be missing for a few weeks. However, if the consultant advises surgery, he'll be out for a couple of months. With Osadebe and Eisa probably missing for many months to come, Walker's injury couldn't have come at a worse time. Fortunately, the transfer/loan window is still open.

Of course it does. Don’t be so stupid!

That article is old. Chelsea owner and Liverpool owners own their stadium.

    Derby owner owns their stadium.

If you want me to explain why owning assets are important then I suggest you go back to school. Oh we train at one. Go there!

Correct, we’ll be stifled at home in most games and do we have enough creativity to overcome it.
At best we might win 10 home games and too many frustrating draws.
To get auto promotion we probably need to win 15 home games and 10 away with 10 draws and 11 defeats

Doesn't it take every club 5-10 games to gel? Well, except Barrow and 10 man Doncaster of course! ;)
