I agree Brroncs but there is a lot of talk but little action as they still need Russian gas. Notice Biden ramped up tensions by committing the USA to defend Tiawan using militarily. means. which is a change of policy the White House is now trying to correct

Yes I have to smile at the likes of Biden and his threats, shame that on the withdrawal from Afganistan he did not see what the future held for the people of Afganistan more so the women.
So for all that Trump was he tried to have dialogue with the likes of North Korea, Russia, the Taliban, etc even pulling America out of the Iran agreement, was he the only one who could see Iran won't stop until they have a nuclear weapon and would be prepared to use it on Israel, that's of course if Israel don't wait for the threats and nuke Iran first.

I see Amnesty have accused Zelenski of war crimes and explains Russia hitting residential areas etc,

Amnesty's report said Ukrainian forces in Kharkiv, Donbas and Mykolaiv had in some cases established bases and operated weapons systems in populated residential areas, including in schools and hospitals, which violated international humanitarian law.

“We have documented a pattern of Ukrainian forces putting civilians at risk and violating the laws of war when they operate in populated areas,” Agnes Callamard, Amnesty International’s Secretary General, said.

I don’t believe much of what I see or hear in the media. But if Russia attacks populated areas, where else are the Ukrainians supposed to put their weapons?

Not in hospitals. Schools and resident blocks of flats. That is a war crime and shows you have little care of your own people

So, you don't think they should have defensive weapons in those locations?

If these articles are true the world can hardly hold Russia to task if the Ukrainians have weapons within the vicinity of hospitals, schools or residential building.

Are you saying they shouldn't be allowed to use defensive weapons to take out incoming missiles that the Russians are using to target the civilian population?

No I'm saying if the Ukrainians position weapons near schools, hospitals or residential building don't be shocked if the Russians bomb those areas to take out those Ukrainian weapons.

If the Russians bombed those specific areas when there were no weapons there then they should be held accountable for War Crimes, but are the Ukrainian weapons stopping the bombing.

unfortunately you don’t know if placing extra defences will stop all attacks until after placing the defences there

That's why I said "are the Ukrainian weapons stopping the bombing".

    I’m
Not sure if the relevance though. Are you saying they should only place defences where they guarantee 100% success?

No I'm saying if the Ukraine do deploy weapons in those areas then they can't expect Russia to not attack areas where they know there are Ukrainian weapons.

The Russians attacked the areas so the Ukrainians put defensive weapons there.
Are you saying they should have left the areas being attacked undefended?
