Tin pot owners and despite a very brief flirt with success look where we are… the basement league.

We've been here most of our footballing life, the basement league whether it's called league two or division four.

We might not own owt, but compared to the 60’s, the current stadium, brand, and size of crowds would have been unimaginable in the 4th division (even if tickets are cheap).

League Two sleeping giants Bradford City have joined the race for Crystal Palace winger Scott Banks, according to a report from Alan Nixon.

The Bantams are in the market for another wide player following a serious injury suffered to new recruit Emmanuel Osadebe, who suffered a double leg break early on in the club’s curtain-raiser this past weekend against Doncaster Rovers.

And Mark Hughes has now set his sights on Banks, who has also been the subject of interest from Bradford’s divisional rivals Hartlepool United recently.

What "evidence" are you after exactly? It's a footie forum - not a court of law.

I did look at the stats and read the report. It's clear that Luton lacked creativity, which supports my point about Pereira - if he can't get on in that situation when can he? Why don't you debate that point, as opposed to wanting "evidence" and bleating about an exaggerated term to make a point?

So basically you think that's it's not relevant to point that a player, that we got to play one his longest match run sequence, isn't getting game time at his parents club when they were in need creativity?

Birmingham City manager John Eustace........ "I was very proud of the defensive display from the boys". Based on this using the term "park the bus" is clearly so inaccurate, it's wind you up so much that you 'couldn't let it go'. Very weird.

I don’t know anything about Banks other than his previous loan spells looking slightly uninspiring.

I’m hoping for Pereira or Diamond although they might be unrealistic.

Mate, read back your post - you said you'd provided evidence. All I said was you hadn't!

I went down the road to talk to my neighbour yesterday morning who's a Luton season ticket fan so I got a good understanding of how the match went, thanks. You crack on and read the media reports and draw your own conclusions.

    Two things are certain.
One due to an unfortunate injury we are one influencial player down till at least 2023.
Two the window of opportunity is still open to recruit, making an inevitable signing almost a knocking bet.
Player recruitment is in the safe hands of Mr Gent.

2 things wrong with what you're saying there.

    1. Osadebe played 5 minutes he can't possibly be considered as influential .

    2. Gent has proved nothing yet and its impossible to suggest otherwise. You'd never even heard of him before he came here and its far too early to suggest if he is good or bad at his job.

    So 2 things aren't certain

some fans are optimistic and some are pessimistic , those two things are certain.
Its far too early to be making calls either way.

We all want to step onto a magic carpet ride out of this division but we have to let things settle and develop, in spite of our impatience. Although I am hoping for a more direct and cohesive performance on Saturday.
