I know you won’t answer this, but if hypothetically we signed James Ward Prowse, would you actually be satisfied that it was a good (better than decent) signing?

 

Currently we are not a top 10 team in div 2.

The main issue we had last season was sticking the ball in the net, and drawing too many under Adams.

At the end of the season it looked like Hughes' tactics were halfway to addressing that issue on their own, and he's added a number of forwards who could provide firepower.

I don't feel we've improved defensively on last season's side, in fact three-quarters of it is the same on paper, but if we're a possession-based side, bringing in players further up the field might not be the worst way to invest our playing budget.

You mean the Rupp Out Boyz. Absolutely no doubt Hughes has been backed and well.

If we don't go up this year, there is zero reason to blame Rupp.

 

Don't know how anyone could see this signing as anything short of fantastic.

Personally think we've got a really good squad, especially if Watt stays.

Maybe another right back in? Threlkeld isn't good enough and Sutton isn't really a specialist right back, so we'd be in a difficult position if Hendrie got injured

 

Actually currently we are. 21/22 has officially finished and 22/23 is currently displaying alphabetically so technically I think we are top three.

I’m happy that we appear to have a plan.
I assume the majority of the squad are now in place, in time for pre-season to start. We’ve talked before about having a good off-season as being key.
Commercial appear to be doing well.
Youth set-up is in a good place.
First team appear to be moving in the right direction.
