I'm pretty mild mannered, but McKirdy's the kind of kid at school you couldn't stop disliking. The Vale violence cannot be condemned - but he's such a wind up merchant that you could see him getting attacked a mile off, given that he was let go last season.

Interesting that Daryl Clarke let him go as I think he's an excellent judge of a players character. For all his talent, McKirdy strikes me as far too much bother than his obvious talent is worth.

Pleased that it's Vale v Mansfield as with their managers, they would be certs to be challenging next season - so at least one is out of the way. And along with Exeter they were the best teams to come to VP.

This dislike of McKirdy is hilarious, living rent free in so many people's heads. I'd have him in as city's team tomorrow.

 

I'm not sure. Every manager he's had has referenced his poor attitude in one way or another and apart from this season he's done very little.

He may continue next season and perhaps I'd regret it but right now? Not for me.

 

Ive not heard Swindon complain about his poor attitude after.helping them get to the playoffs.

 

That's true tbf. I was going on his previous managers and even one who liked him suggested he was difficult to manage.

I'm just unsure we need that kind of disruption although it's very difficult to argue with his output.

 

So far he's a one season wonder, and Coventry apparently after him.
