You and Idle are quite right. Very good start and with 5 weeks to go and a large number of last season holders still to renew we are likely to exceed last seasons 12.7k by a margin, even given all those on here who said they would never go again!! Even if some carry out their threat I think the Club are looking towards 14k. After that there is away fans and a pay match by match choice if we do well giving a possible average home attendance of approaching 16k. Just my personal opinion.

    The fans always deliver.

However, I can't take out attendance seriously considering how cheap the season tickets are. It's like a fake reflection. I don't sit their pride of our attendance.

Saying all this its the fans are not the problem at this club and I would say that even if we have 2k fans attending. Its now time for Mr Rupp to step the F up or F off. That simple. We need the owner to reflect the fans now and want what we want.

    Time is now!

The thing here Fordy, is that we are constantly told how hard the cost of living is becoming. Watching football on a Saturday afternoon , is a luxury . No matter what the cost of the ticket , it will be a decision that some have to make across the country.
The fact we have held the price in the face of 9% inflation and probably higher is commendable .
lots of clubs who charge more than us could lose season ticket holders , with fans picking prime matches to attend and pay on the day or even not at all.
I say again well done and really hope we surpass last years total.

Must clubs have held their price mate.

The only asset Bradford City has is the fans. Without fans the club has nothing hence why it needs fans in and tickets are cheap. The club are not doing us a favour. It's to try highlight potential but without sending money themselves on improves.

As a small/medium business the club does ok.

As for football being a luxury. It is in Bradford as its a boring city and for me many attend on a Saturday as they don't have anything better to do in their life. Overall though football is like a drug and fans will always find away to attend. 100k people in Spain last night. Cost of living won't stop fans attending games. That's poor excuse. The cost of living won't stop people going to the pub etc.

Look, this government is a joke. I see that and yes they certainly need to do more to help people but lets not make out Bradford City and football clubs are doing us all a favour. No! They need fans! That simple!

All this is true to many fans/clubs across the country, but the thing is with everything being inflated is it could even work in our favour with cheap STs as there's not a lot of things left do on a Saturday afternoon for £8.70 a game at 0% credit.

Do you know for a fact that most clubs have held their prices.
You are correct some people will always find the money for luxury items. Holidays , Cinema , Meals out. Beer , Ciggs , the flash new phone, its all part of the i must have society, even if i have to borrow to pay for it, but to say the fans only attend Bradford city because they are bored and there is nothing else to do on a Saturday, Is probably one of the most stupid comments you have ever made. Would these bored people just not go to Leeds or Manchester for a far more entertaining day out around the city centres.

No, they wouldn't because their other half wouldn't allow them too. Bradford is a dull city. Adults are bored. Most people morgatage to up to high heaven and I can tell that by the crap cars they drive. You been to Idle and Thackley for example. Decent houses, crap cars! Can't afford to live where they live and pretend. Low disposable income. Instead of been able to afford to go to the Caribbean, Mexico, etc they have to settle for Spain or a caravan trip. Fake living. Drive crap cars but look we have a decent house but can't afford to live life correctly.

Bradford is a City that lacks excitement and the football offers something for those bored something to do. We could increase our prices and people will find a way of going.

My god Fordy, you are wasted cleaning those cars with those midgets.

A man that claims to be as financially astute as you, would know that it’s common sense to invest in appreciating assets, such as property, rather than depreciating assets, such as cars. Puts your whole theory into doubt.

I renewed yesterday. £130 for a 25 year ticket holder including postage and a physical card. That's £5.65 per match. By contrast I paid £5.40 for a pint of Landlord and £6.00 for a pint of Cider in the Dog & Gun at Oxenhope on Saturday so I can get three pre match pints in the Rose & Crown and a match for the price of two drinks in this robbin barsteward's pub.

I don’t give a fig what some people think affordable football is a model all clubs should subscribe to affordable prices and the ability to pay over 12 months at no extra cost is and should be the envy of football fans up and down the land. We can rightly argue rightly that the club has been run poorly over the years with matters on the field but in my opinion they are top of the shop on this
