Credit to you Park. I'd suggest you're probably part of a core of around 4-5k who feel the same way. At most. But there's a bigger proportion of fans who are becoming disengaged, disinterested and moving beyond being concerned to being apathetic. I wonder to what degree the club recognise this - because its something they need to worry about. Unless we have a good January of recruitment and results pick up in the second half of the season, ST sales are going to take a real hit in the summer. And if sustainability is the buzzword, then it'll mean budgets have to be cut and its another season of regression on the cards.

I'm hoping the silence from Sparks about the whole takeover situation, will mean action speaks louder than words when it comes to January recruitment. We don't want to hear about who was on the list, only that the shopping list was complete and they must be of quality.

'January is a difficult month to buy players'.

'Clubs in the higher leagues are reluctant to loan players out until the last minute, until they've concluded their own business and we can't wait forever'.

'Players either want to come to this football club or they don't. I'm not going to sell what it means to play for a club this size or in front of 14k fans every week. If they don't want to be here, then fine'

Odds on when we hear each of those next month...??

Don’t forget we tried but they got an offer from Championship/top League1 team that we couldn’t compete with. We are not going to risk the clubs future

But we did strike a deal with a local light bulb company worth £4000 over 3 years.

We are told season ticket sales are going to slump every year and they defy predictions every time

Good will only lasts so long. The ball ache of covid restrictions, the poor quality of football and results on offer, and now - with the spectre and impacts of Rahic well and truly cleared, there remain no more excuses for a failure to take this club forward. Put it all together and people will vote with their feet - like they did when we previously had year upon year failure at this level.

They defied predictions this time primarily because of Covid and the fact people hadn't seen live football for a season and a half. The fans can only be commended for whole heartedly backing the club in big numbers especially after a season ticket price rise. Unless there is a turnaround in form we will not hit those same numbers next season, the ball is now firmly in Rupps court. His lack of leadership going forward for this club is turning fans away. Not the likes of you Park, you'd turn up regardless. But there are a lot of fans losing patience with what they are seeing. Failure to reach the playoffs this season at least should be an embarrassment for all concerned.

My vote is for another owner/ chairman. Rupp needs to go quit a few fans who I know are drifting away from the club . I would like to see our Associate Directors step up surly I thought associate directors roles are to keep companies running effectively. Or is it just to enjoy pre match nibbles.
With Carlisle game being called off Keighley Massive travelled to Settle by train very enjoyable , talking about old times and away trips . On our way back we jumped off at Skipton to the Venue and watched Dirty L**** get thrashed by Arsenal.
    A good day out.

Added to which, the club made all the right noises about pushing for promotion in the summer. Our transfer business didn't reflect that ambition, so we're at a point whereby many fans have lost trust in what the club says. Actions are what's needed.

Transfer activity as good as ceased as soon as the season ticket deadline was reached, with just a couple of late token signings despite being told every additional ticket sold would boost the budget.

While the season ticket sales were strong in the summer, how many fans actually turn up? Only the club knows the true number of fans that turn up.

Personally, Sutton was the game that broke me for good I think. When we went 2-1 down I was straight off and missed the later equaliser, lol.

but just had enough of mediocrity, underinvestment and wasted time down at VP.

Have had a ST 25 years now and used to crawl over broken glass to get to VP when I moved out of Bradford for three years during uni. That was during the admin days. But these days just feel like going through the motions.

My kids hate City. Have taken my eldest to Man City for a day out but, like most kids, the Prem is all they really want to know. Taking him to the Spurs game in a few months and lookimg forward to it. Would rather spend £100 and watch something enjoyable than £15 and leave with that horrible feeling we get now after more dropped points.

Kids like a feelgood factor that comes from success and a team playing well, ultimately. The current mood of frustration in the stands isn’t conducive for maintaining their support.

I really thought Adams was the man and this year was our year. With the underlying data early on suggesting we were playing well too, I kept my confidence in us for longer than most, but Tranmere was a turning point I think. We looked so bad. Now holes are appearing elsewhere. We need four players realistically - ST, winger, RB and GK, maybe even a CB if it means Songoo can push up, and it just isn’t going to happen is it.

its cold, the product is poor, and the lack of direction from Rupp doesn’t make you wanna snap out of it and become re-energised.

We need someone with charisma and ambition. Throw caution to the wind and gamble a little.

our associate directors are just a bought title. They have no power whatsoever. It is not the same as a non executive director in a PLC, and even then they can not force an owner out, especially as he owns the club totally

Spot on. It doesn't even need to be that reckless. 3 quality league 2 players. The money involved wouldn't put the club at any material risk.

Indeed. They are more akin to sponsors who pay the club a significant amount each season and in return partake in club privileges and are feted at away games. But they are certainly not Directors of the club in the true sense as a simple look at Companies House will testify.

An aquaintance of mine who is a member of that club regards his title as a courtesy title for giving the club money over several years and helping them out occasionally for a small fee. I've told him on several occasions that it is a paid-for vanlty title massaging his own ego! He doesn't agree of course.

If Rupp was inclined to take the offer would he care if senior figures quit? As for meeting Rupp in Bradford has he been over here recently?

How do I get further down the article?

I can only see up to -

Having issued a statement on Friday confirming the WAGMI United group had emailed him a bid (“nothing more”), Bradford owner Stefan Rupp doubled down a day later.
