I think it's results and frustration rather than the manager. All teams and fans love to win and when it's not happening you become despondent. We usually create, we just can't finish so how the players can feel aggrieved at Adams, I don't know. They've all had their chance and failed. If they're replaced it's because they're not good enough, not because of the manager in my opinion.

Regards last nights second half performance they deserve all the flack they get, I'll repeat my earlier comment "gutless" apart from Sutton who never gave up the cause.

    To clarify my position.
    • Six points would have been excellent.
    • Four points would have been good.
    • Three points would have been acceptable
    • One point is poor.
    Hope that assists!

We are drifting into mid table mediocrity.

If l was Scunthorpe l would be thinking we can get a result against Bradford City, which is very worrying.

The clubs a shambles. Can’t even get merchandise ready for Chrimbo. Unless they know there’s no rush… AD9BAE1B-A012-4BA5-B899-9EE8665DFA98.png

Any whilst some people say calm down last night IT could have been 5 or 6 ... so I am very worried about our get out of Div 2 Team display against a very poor team form wise who appeared to be lacking in confidence at home before they played us. So if someone can spin that performance to we are okay.... please help and apply within..

As a side issue my girlfriend who was sat in bed with me as I had the headphones on... said it makes you very angry listening to that dont do it grrrrrrrrr

As I posted yesterday last night was my first away game of the season.
After that performance it will probably be my last for a while as well.
Looking at Tranmere’s line up it didn’t take a rocket scientist to work out where their defence is strongest.Peter Clarke has one skill as a footballer-heading the ball. It’s what he does best and what he’s done ALL his career. Why keep persisting with just launching the ball when it clearly is bread and butter for a defender like Clarke.
The one time in the first half we put a few quick passes together on the floor it resulted in a great goal.
It’s so frustrating when before a game starts the majority of fans can see certain opposition players strengths but we just blindly play into these strengths and then wonder why our tactics don’t work.
I genuinely thought before the game started that “on paper” that looked a decent team.
Shame that it didn’t look the same on the grass.

Still can't get over that performance last night.

What still amazes me is the one piece of good football we produced cut Tranmere apart and resulted in a great goal for us.

Yet we then persisted with hoofing it to Peter Clarke for the next hour and wondered why we didn't have a shot on target.

Ahahaha aye, I'm pretty gutted. Like I wouldn't mind if we played decent football but we were just awful last night, these players can't maintain stamina and just drop off and stop playing football.

Ahahaha aye absolutely buddy, can't lie to myself about this shambles anymore. Like, Sutton's goal for me was a good goal, then Tranmere's first goal was a little too soft in my opinion, but after they scored we just fell apart, these players only turn up for 20 minutes and 70+ minutes is wasted, no urgency in this team.

I read what Derek Adams said about 'individual mistakes' and I said to my Dad, "Was he watching the same game as us?" More than just individual mistakes, the team aren't a cohesive unit, Tranmere ran circles around us for most of the game. Derek also said we were comfortable in the first half, from what I saw until we scored that goal they were dominating us in the opening 20 minutes ahaha, then went on to dominate us all through the second half.

I don't see how Adams gets off scott free. He's the manager! He was brought in to get a tune from this bunch of players. Many who he signed himself. I understand that most of them are not quality players, but it's his job to get them to play to the best of their ability. He's not doing that.

Look at our run of results and tell me that it isn't sackable form. Ole at Man Utd was in a similar position. Not getting players to play for him, and look what happened. And then look what happened last night - they won! Many questioned OGS tactics, and I'm doing the same with Adams. At no point last night, did he identify that Clarke was winning everything in the air, and passed the message onto ROD and the players who were hoofing the ball up to Clarke to mop up. I can't remember any reactive management from Adams during this bad run we're on. His tactics, are akin to us lumping it up the park and hoping someone gets on the end of it. People on here saying he's "a winner" he has a "winning mentality". I don't see how people can continue to say that, when we've won 2 games in 18. If he was brought here because of his "winning mentality", then I'd say he's not living up to his job description!

I don't like the constant merry go round of changing managers, but surely there has to be a point when his tenure is questioned? How many games do we have to draw/lose before it's time to admit that it's not working? I don't think Sparks has the balls to make that decision, and I don't think Rupp wants to be involved full stop. I've lost count the amount of times we've all been waiting for the January transfer window to be the big season changer, and here we are again! The shower we currently have playing for us, were signed in the summer window, when a lot of players were available, and we supposedly had a budget.

The way I see January panning out, is that Rupp isn't going to fund much, if at all, there's going to be a very limited amount of players available, and we'll probably ship out more than we bring in. The idea of bringing in "four quality players to bolster our charge for promotion" I think is total dreamland stuff. And then DA launches an attack on the culture of the club again, and faces the sack or leaves.

Its grim reading I know, and perhaps I'm being overly negative, but in my opinion, I don't see any future hope once January arrives :(

The CEO also hasn't responded to the absolute battering I (and no doubt many others) gave him on the stupid survey he sent out. He should be demoted to twitter account manager and nothing else. Lets have Baldwin back.

Sutton has the makings of a winner, but agree on the rest. Don't get the love in for Watt or Cooke. Both slow the team down far too much.

If Adams is passive, why was he booked in two of the last three matches ?

I wouldnt say Adams is passive. He still rubs people up the wrong way. He’s just not as animated on the touchline as Sir Philip of Parkinsonshire.

    Very few. Exactly.

he’s a bit more softly spoken in his interviews, Dezza, and comes across a bit colder, but everyone’s personality is different I guess. He’s not the issue IMO

Well he moans at the ref, I'll give you that and one card was for telling Exeter fans to eff off.

I'd rather him be active in that technical area, giving out orders, geeing the team up, telling people what he wants. Instead he leaves them to it and watches the game drift away.

Canavan appears useless as Captain too, another one too cocky with the referee (we've a few of them) and not strong enough with the rest of the team.

Then they'll have to refund all the money from pre sales, and that money is going on new player wages in January (or is funding the salaries of the new scouting team). We haven't got a pot to piss in, we're depending on shirt sales to fund transfers, and now they miss the Christmas gifting market. I see a lot of people on Xmas day, getting an "IOU" letter in their Xmas sack!
