Not sure how big it is but looking at Google maps there’s an area on the junction of Filey street and New Augustus Road just off Shipley Airedale Road which looks to be derelict. Close to city centre , interchange and leisure facilities.
Also plenty of parking to use in the business units nearby.
Like I say, don’t know if there’s enough space.

Isn't that the job of the CEO, to ensure positive answers to those questions? Not a criticism of Sparks BTW, its early days for him. But we've had 20 years to address this.

And that is my point. There isn’t a credible alternative that can be found. Best Lawn could come up with was Odsal. We have all searched and haven’t found anywhere

getting same scale is always tricky. I usually compare width of the roads to see if they are similar scale.

Looking at VP I reckon it is between 8 and 9 acres including car parks that belong to club, excluding the whole school site

And yet smaller clubs, with smaller districts find a way. Not saying its easy by any means. But Bradford is what, the 7th, 8th biggest city in the country?

Why are we so quick to accept perceived limitations when others find ways?

Whether fans, for obvious emotional reasons would accept a move is another discussion.

Are we so quick. This discussion has been going for years and we all have access to maps to look for sites. And so far no one has come up with a decent site with the exception of a Odsal base

See it’s comments like this which make Bradford City in truth a small club, The club is mega lazy!

We’re the 9th biggest City and you are telling me we can’t find anywhere? Behave mate.

Maybe, it’s a case of creating space. Buying houses/building and knocking them down if needs be to generate a larger area.

I’m not having that we can’t build anywhere. That’s utter, utter bollocks!

In principle I agree with you. But it's very easy to say why can't we just this or that when there are genuine limitations.
For instance location. There are few if any geographical locations within the BD postcode that cater for the clubs historical supporter base, I can only think of one or at a push two and even then there would have to be a fair bit of demo work.
Then theres the emotional attachment to Valley Parade where it isn't just as simple to up sticks and relocate.
You could look at multi purpose but then what audience would you be aiming the stadium at? Rugby is finished in Bradford, again like the football no one seems to have the appetite to push sport forward.
You could aim at concerts and the like but again the historical name of Bradford pops up. Who would want to come to Bradford to watch a gig? Place is a right shithole.
Then even after all this the decision was made to build a shiny new stadium and a location was found, who and how is it financed. Any investors are going to want a return on that investment and we don't have a forward thinking local authority like Leeds who invested in the First Direct arena.
Truth is, and I don't disagree with your sentiments, that unless a BFG figure appears draped in armour on the back of his trusty steed gallops into Bradford with a magic money tree then Bradford City will continue to be what it always has been throughout most of its history.
We can but hope I guess.

    Full of the excuses!

Lots of shit holes and the clubs in them shit holes have managed to build a new stadium or training ground.

Bradford has created this loser mentally and we can’t do this and that! Sad really. So good people in Bradford are turning in to the Walking Dead.

Don’t let certain people on here that live in nice house and go to his holiday home believe certain things are impossible.

Bradford Council are a disgrace! Bradford City in terms of off field investment are a disgrace! It’s time now for the City to build.

    Find a way!

    Nothing is impossible.
If, and this is always the deal breaker, you have the money.
So far no one has come up with a workable cohesive plan that involves a £50 million stadium as part of a development. Last guy in Bradford to do it was BFG. And guess what? Yeah we never had the money for it.
Cos you see, if I'm investing £50 million in a development I'm sure as hell wanting a return on that money. I want evidence that I can pass on to my investors that I will be getting them the best possible return on that money.
The local authority are useless and have no money. So don't go there. And no one invests in Bradford in a business sense when you have Leeds 10 miles down the road.

They ain't excuses mate, they're cold hard facts.

You are looking at it in the wrong way.

The club would be about to increase the worth of it and commercial prospects would vastly increase.

The club has no future operating as it does and while you think about these hard cold facts. Clubs are leaving us behind. We sit in div 2 not owning anything. Great that.

I'll keep asking you till I get an answer. Where is the money coming from? I'll say again, in my 40 odd years of support we've only ever had one man to show any level of ambition and that was BFG. In 40 years. And he didn't use his own money.
And I'm asking this because without this mythical being that I keep asking for evidence of where the hell is the money coming from? And I need examples of clubs who have left a historically lower level football club behind? One that doesn't have this mythical multi millionaire benefactor who has supported their club all their life like Matthew Benham.

Richard dunns is the obvious choice surely

Plenty of parking and the option of a retail area next door

Get bulls involved ... only Bradford could mess this opportunity up

Wow Bradford have done a job on you.

You think we need one backer. We don't.

You bring in other companies that would be interested. I don't know talk to the University, Morrisons, JCT, Council, Bulls etc. It doesn't have to be one persons money.

Other clubs have done it mate. If a club in the 9th biggest city can't then that's utter bollocks. Rhodes - LAZY! RUPP - LAZY!

Rupp is a joke of an owner - Utter Joke! The sooner he goes the better. He doesn't deserve to own our club.
