Kiosk payments

Just like your IP provider is tracking every site you visit and then selling that information to companies to send adverts to your browser ( browse washing machines and you will be then have adverts from suppliers in your browser )
The banks do the same with your card activity selling the analytics to commercial customers

 

Data analysis is part of what’s made Amazon what it is. It’s why shops have loyalty cards. I’m not sure what say Tesco are going to do with information from my bank on spending though, whatever they do they’re not getting me to spend more there, what I spend on is my decision.

What is odd though is when I’m talking to my wife about buying say a washing machine and then I’m getting washing machine ads on my phone.

 

So, were the queues noticeably smaller due to all those claiming they were never going to use the kiosks again?

Or were they shorter due to the quicker service time due to no cash

 

Got served in record time at half time yesterday - great for once.

 

Good to hear it was always going to be difficult for the catering company on start up, but the fans frustration is understandable.

Also improving in the Bantams Bar Dave they have a seperate bottle bar now and staff getting settled in. No improvement to the gents though no hot water and hand dryer faulty .

 

Wonder if the speedy service is due to not taking cash.

I am being a bit tinfoil hat here, but it wouldnt surprise me if your alexa or phone is listening to your converstations. it is possible youve searched for washing machine parts too. there is a case of google recomending pregancy products to a woman before she knew she was pregnant! her search history was indicatitave of someone who pregnant (was searching for random foodstuffs at silly hours ect)

Worked out why the percentage is higher in the suites. You can not use card for food in Hendrie/McCall suite. You they force you to pay cash even if you don’t want to
