Never said we wouldn't. But the amount of injuries we've had 11 games into the season is absurd. And that isn't good enough when there were supposed improvements in the backroom to make sure the risk of injury was reduced.

 

Just like the players of this club in interviews.

 

I think its more down to signing either

1) players who have been outside the first team and not keeping their fitness up e.g. laverly and robinson
2) players who are inherently injury prone e.g. angol.

this club has a lot wrong with it and im unsure how long it would take to fix but removing sparks and adams is completely the wrong thing to do.

 

Why?

If one just Soundbites thinking of his own CV and the other is stubborn thinking he knows best but failing to get the results then I don’t see why or how they will improve the club!

I like Adams but he will be judged on results like all football managers.

 

We need to sign players that have ambition not those looking for a wage at the back end of their careers

Totally true.
Not enough passion in our club which continually sees us drifting around the bottom divisions for most of our existence.
A true reflection of the City as a whole.
Acceptance of mediocrity.

 

Do you think Klopp should have got the sack last year on his poor run?

Genuinely my belief is that any manager with the right backing and time can get any team promoted and doing well.

ironically sacking a manager to improve the results does nothing.. we even see it at city!!!! In the 3 years and 7 managers we’ve had we have not seen a jot of improvement. Why? A lack of time. A constant state of staying at square one. It will be hard with city fans but sparks needs balls soon. Needs to stick with him.

We need to cool the seat.

 

Adams is no doubt a stubborn and prickly character and it is telling that even after getting them promoted Morecambe did not fight to keep him, He seems to easily fall out with people and hope the players are able to overcome that and keep playing for him,
Having said all that he was the clubs choice and most supporters were happy with it so we need to give him some time to rebuild the club and at least one transfer period where he can bring in his own choices, Thats the time to judge him,

Klopp didn’t and doesn’t want to do everything! He used his team very very well. Recruitment isn’t done by Klopp.

 

Are you suggesting Kloop has no input into the signing of players, of the outgoing of players.

 

No he's saying he tells someone else who he wants and they go order the pizzas ready for the player arriving

 

The simple reason why Morecambe did not fight to keep him was that a deal by Bradford to sign him had already been agreed behind the club's back. Adams although he got promotion was not a well liked manager and was abrupt when approached and clearly saw MFC as a stepping stone to so called bigger clubs. His playing style although result wise was successful it was far from being attractive to watch and in some games was so boring that it was like watching paint to dry. It's not surprising that he's now under pressure and it will be interesting to see if as expected he says 'sod it' and returns over the Border sooner than later to his first love, assuming that they would have him back. The failure to sign Stockton has been his biggest failure to date but no amount of money could persuade Stockton to stay in EFL2 when he had the chance to prove the doubters (of which there are many) wrong about being able to survive in EFL1. He's currently the leagues leading scorer which proves that he has what it takes. I wouldn't be surprised if before Christmas that Adams is either shown the door or he walks himself. The guy doesn't like to be challenged and if things are going wrong he will blame those around him rather than look at himself.

 

That could well be a fair assessment of his character, I agree things could easily go either way as you say..
