So we sign another boy with some potential and nothing more and some claim he will start as 1st choice. I really don’t know what planet some of you live on. If he didn’t start in our u23 and have to play his way in, I’d be disappointed.

So, he was at Chesham United prior to getting a chance with the Nike Academy and getting signed for Leicester’s u23s. Was he playing for them when we beat them 4-0 a few seasons ago then? He didn’t play that day, but was he on their books?

As I said, I can’t see anything other than an u23 place for this lad. The concern I have is that we are signing so many players that haven’t played higher than u23 for their clubs and we saw how those teams have struggled in the JPT the last couple of seasons

Of course he is untried so I hope the scouting has been good. Which goes for all our signings. It's good that we seem to be signing and being linked to a variety of age group players

 

I wish Connor him all the best and welcome him to the club, looks an exciting prospect. However based on youtube videos I'd rather have this guy. Can cross with both feet and knows how to put in a tackle too

Offered him a 3 year deal and paid a fee so that suggests they are serious about him as our first choice LB. Sure he has only played at PL2 level but he is going to be playing L1 football, let's not over rate our league now...

No issue he didn't play for Leicester - he has Fuchs and Chillwell ahead of him there. Much rather players like this than the Alan Sheehans of the past.
