Our colours are claret and amber as long as that is incorporated in the kit we don’t need to have stripes every year

Lovely kit that, no doubt will sell in good numbers. Avec coming up with another decent addition.

Like the kit but the shape of the collar looks a bit dodgy.

Always love the white kits had the one when we beat wolves plus the one the recent one. This is ace assuming away kit blue or do we need one as white could wear against any other colour? Back then only played in one kit

Apart from when the home team wears white or has mainly white? Bristol Rovers, Tranmere?

Looks good to me. We played in white in my first season following City, it’s nice to look back occasionally. And I’m sure we’ll be back in stripes next year

I mean it’s not a patch on Edin’s ‘warrior’ kit bit you can’t have everything I suppose.

I like it but then I started watching City in the 84/85 season so I've fond associations of the white kit.
Whilst I agree that our unique club colours set us apart from the rest of the EFL & PL it does get a little repetitive to have claret and amber stripes each year. So well done to the club for trying something different this season.

    BANG ON!

It doesn’t have to be stripes ever.

Although I prefer the stripes, its quite a smart change and probably more versatile to wear as leisurewear away from matchdays.

Lets hope history repeats itself and we are promoted this coming season wearing it

Look at our kit history in comparison. They have set rules, we dont. Claret and amber stripes account for under half of our home kits the last 50 years.

    Anyway its done now.

If our tradition is to have some flexibility with our shirts unlike those mentioned then I’m all for it, most of them kits are dull and can only be told apart due to the badge and sponsor. The likes of United, Liverpool and Arsenal only sell so many every season due to fan base and the badge on the shirt. Doesn’t make them a good kit.

You are absolutely spot on with flexibility. Town, Blades,Wednesday - year after year stripes zzzz. Although TBF Wednesday did mix it up a few years ago with full blue

Away kit in 1981 was all amber with a claret trim. I think we will be required to wear that quite a few times next season. Lots of teams with white in their shirts - Bristol Rovers, Tranmere, Port Vale, Barrow etc.

If we go up in white I wouldnt be surprised to see us keep white next season. Will certainly have a feel good factor about it.....

As the home team don't we pull rank or something and the away team has to not clash with us? Totally unsure of the rules!

Yes. Im saying we will have to wear the potential amber strip away from home. Home shirt will always be worn at VP.

Away kit isnt always worn away from home. We wore claret and amber stripes in a lot of away games last season.

3rd kit I dont have a clue.....probably blue??? Cant think of any other colour. Black is keeper kit, grey too similar too white.....maybe something completely different like pink or purple.
