We've all got different individual circumstances and different reasons for claiming or not claiming our money back. I would never criticise anyone for their decision , whatever they decided to do. It's up to the individual.

Was it that obvious? I wasn't having a go or taking the p*ss. Just being a bit mischievous.

The returned season ticket donations is shown as negative expenditure ie income! This suggests that the club had budgeted to return to supporters the cost of games paid for which we were unable to attend. The net amount of £300k is therefore a windfall to the club and actually shows that few fans had asked for their money back!

800k in the modern day for a football club? Really? Propping up? Pull the other one

That’s true. From my own personal point of view, I buy the season ticket or match ticket knowing I’ll never see the cash again. If we play well, badly, indifferent or not at all makes no odds to me. The money’s gone. If I was disillusioned with what was happening at the club, I’d stay away until the regime had gone.

We took in 2.6 million on McBurnie + whatever, and over just two seasons we've still made a near million dollar loss.

You do the math - we aren't getting 2 million on a regular basis, so it's blindingly obvious Rupp is set to lose a lot of money.

well spotted. I bet anyone that didn’t request the money back it has been classed as a donation, that way they don’t have to pay VAT on that part of the season ticket money. At £50 per ticket holder it means 6000 didn’t request the money back

There was also money from away match tickets.

surely that wouldn’t be negative expenditure though. It would either be expenditure, or more likely never got onto the books as it was refunded before end of financial period

It was about £38 per ticket to be refunded so that would equate to about 7,500 ST holders.

out of 13k ish? that isn’t bad really when you think kids would get less etc
Did the amount refunded depend on what you had got? So adult with a suite upgrade would get more back than an adult?

I assumed that the money I paid for away tickets, but didn't claim back after the matches were cancelled, was treated the same as the season ticket money I didn't claim back.

I would think that money would go to the home team as it was their ticket that was sold, we were just the agents.

It was my understanding that, as the matches weren't played, City kept the money to refund supporters. I'm sure I checked at the time. If the money had been going to the home club, I would have claimed it back.

Set to? Makes no sense. We haven’t yet.
The point being we keep being told on here we should be so ever grateful for Mr Rupp and his deep pockets? Without him what we do? We wouldn’t have a club etc etc.
Rubbish. Any semi wealthy businessman could fund this side
