Full(ish) as in the bare minimum!

The detailed accounts published by Scunny compare dramatically with the absence of detail in the accounts published by our club. Scunny and most other clubs are very open with their fans and others who want to draw comparisons between clubs.

My God, Scunny even describe and quantify what are known as Related Transactions - loans, interest paid, dividends, management fees etc - between the club and its owners! How novel Of course, when clubs choose to only publish abbreviated accounts as we do, these details aren't shown.

I understand that's the plan but I am confused by Ryan's intention. In all of my professional career as a chartered accountant, I have never heard of any company doing anything similar. Yes, many companies publish headline or summarised information to inform their stakeholders but which has been extracted from their already published accounts. Instead our club appears to be publishing information which hasn't already been included in the published accounts.

I'll be particularly interested to see whether the 'detailed analysis' as Ryan describes it contains any reference to the accounts of the club's holding company or any reference to what known as Related Party Transaction. Have a look at what @Lard Arse posted from Scunny's full accounts (I provided a link in my earlier post) to see the importance of that particular information. In our abbreviated published accounts, there is nothing equivalent. In Scunny's case there is no doubt of the extent to which their owners are financing the club and what is being paid by the club to its ultimate owners. I await Ryan's version with interest.
