New Kit

These are very nice. Like others have said, if the club brought out a range of retro shirts, they'd have zero trouble selling them! I've just looked for these on ebay and the price has gone up to £35.99 + £15.59 postage

 

Ouch. Having said that, I bought a shirt off Ebay (the white 1990 Grattan away shirt). I won it for £110. Fair enough -it's pretty rare and a favourite of mine. HOWEVER, I've just had to fork out €67 import tax to release it from the post office. Bloody Brexit!! So with that in mind, £35.99 plus £15.59 isn't too bad

Didn’t the club shop stock some retro shirts about 5 years ago? There was a 1960s striped shirt and a white one from the 70s.

 

Yes. The 60s striped one was a really horrible faded colour. Looked like it had been through a boil wash about a hundred times

 

Maybe they were just saving us the disappointment early.

I think these were the ones available on "Toffs"? Decent enough, but not many football fans want to wear something that's made from the same material as an old rugby shirt. These ones that the Aussie fella on Ebay are doing are good. Can't be hard to follow suit and bring out a range of 80's and 90's replicas. Get someone local to produce them - I'm sure there's enough in Bradford who could do it.

 

Yep, I was bought one and it wasn't very nice to wear, it soon found its way into my collection of city shirts I won't be rushing to wear again.

Avec have launched a new kit template, ready to ship in July. One of our kits might be to this design.

 

Jesus, I frickin' hope not. They're bloody awful.

It's really starting to piss me off the way these kit manufacturers keep farting around with clubs' shirts. Who wants a football shirt with a load of stupid thin horizontal lines and awful fade-outs on? They're disgusting. Just bloody stop it.

Get those designs in claret and amber, stick a badge and sponsor on and might look ok. That said, might be an away kit template.

 

Way I see it is our home shirt is usually diagonal stripes. Year on year - all look the same. I dont mind then mixing it up for 12 months. As its only 12 months.
