I was never a Bradford ender. But I do remember that the meat and potato pies used to be really excellent. I still like my Bovril at half time in the winter months.

But I had hoped that things might have moved on a bit from burgers and hot dogs. Nothing wrong with them, if they're good quality and I'm in the right mood, but I'd hope there is more choice than that.

Well I think the guy that owns Tiffins also has the City Vaults, The Old Bank, Ginger Goose and The Lord Clyde so he has access to some good ales so why not?

The “old” meat and potatoe pies were flippin excellent at VP in the 60-70’s Then they went to those plastic wrapped things that “steamed” in the packet. Floppy horrible mess.

Yes GOOD quality stuff is of prime importance. If more choice means poorer quality as opposed to less choice and top quality….give me less choice any day. It’s a balance the have to find for “one handed food” .

I wasn't in Bradford in the 60s & 70s (hence my username). Started watching regularly in the 1985 promotion season and always on the kop until I switched to C block main stand a few years back.
I don't remember the brand, or whether they were cellophane wrapped, but I do remember eating excellent meat & potato pies at VP in the 80s & 90s - very tasty, with a nice peppery flavour. If the 60s & 70s pies were better then they must have been something special.
Yes, I agree that quality is of prime importance. Choice is no good if the food is poor. But I was hoping we might have got some decent samosas, kebabs etc along with the burgers and hot dogs.

I think the food and drink issue is largely irrelevant for me. I tend not to eat between meals and go to a local pub for a couple of decent pints pre-match. One important factor is to meet with a mixture of City fans, several who post on here, a few lurkers and others who are not involved in online City stuff. However I accept it is part of match day for many and is likely to increase uptake and satisfaction if the quality is good and the price reasonable.

Absolutely agree. Samosas are one of the easiest to make, keep warm and sell. Yum!
