I am sure you a correct, its no different in any walk of life. I know which of my staff do not see eye to eye. Its never got to the fighting stage but i have had to mediate at times. I definately would not tolerate a trouble maker , working for me.
I am not saying this is what has happened at city, as i said earlier we will probably never know.

    Not sure what that means.

Either way, take it we agree that whichever spin you put on the situation we are better off without a player who doesn’t want to play for us.

    Everything else is just noise.

You are right but Rowe had more than just a good shot. He had a good (accurate) shot with either foot, quite a good first touch and quick feet so that he could create that bit of space for a shot. Having said all that the downside was that he had a poor workrate, no pace and didn't like heading the ball. So for us there wasn't enough there to warrant keeping him here.

Er, OK. I’m not taking anything, merely stating that we are better off without a player who doesn’t want to play for us.

But he was told he did have a place it was up to him to show in training that he should play rather than cook or Novak he decided he didn’t want that and moved on

I'm not anti club or anti T&S but we were told Turnbull was brought in to help with player recruitment to help the manager bringing players into the club, so we'd imagine as that's his job he has a pretty good all round knowledge of any player we may be looking at.
No club gets all their transfer business right 100% of the time but it was only a few days ago Ryan was telling us on Radio Leeds he will only allow us to bring in players into the club who make the right noises IE not that we have a Premier League ground or that we have a great fan base but that said player wanted to be part of a successful squad that brings promotions ETC, then one of the first players we sign apparently does not have those attributes and is lazy, poor trainer, and trouble causer we hear.
I'm still very surprised T&S thought Rowe was the type of player to fit into a successful squad that played their system/formation of football, there's no shame in saying we got it wrong, as I say no club gets every transfer right.

That is a nonsense mate, you only have to go back to the Tranmere game, losing 1 - 0 after 45 minutes and they did not make a change until 62 minutes (Clarke was replaced as a precaution) at half time were told, then proceed to do nothing until the 91 minute when they brought the Don on, that for me makes a nonsense of his comment Rowe was in our plans going forward, what had we to lose by throwing an extra forward on and go for it, maybe Mark actually believed his post match interview, trouble is the vast amount of Bradford City fans didn't (obviously not all), do you agree we dominated and created chances, and playing as we did we'll win more game than we lose.

Whatever you and I believe is immaterial as Ryan Sparks has just said he was assured the club wasn’t trying to get rid of him. He decided he didn’t want to fight for his place he would prefer to move to Chesterfield with a long contract end of story

Now there's a statement I'd love to read from any club about any player.

So he had a part to play but when we desperate for points teh last three games they subbed him then didn't play him at all. A strange logic but logic nether the less.

I would hope Ryan has a little more respect with regards fans than you quote, you'd never hear a CEO making that quote, fans opinions are immaterial.
I offered a different opinion with regards the Rowe situation even though he was told there was a place for him at the club he can't even get on as a sub when we are losing 1 - 0 at home, that is the point that just doesn't make sense, a player sat wanting game time and the managers din't see that as a good substitution a chance Rowe might score when brought on as he had done previously, unlike you mate I don't take all that is said by the club as gospel.

Sometimes a player just doesn't fit.
Better to get rid especially as you can recoup some or all of the spend.
Imagine spending 45M on a striker who was better than 1 in 2 in the Bundesliga, then turns out he's 1 in 5, so after a season you sell for 22M and surprise, surprise starts better than 1 in 2 at a new club.
    It happens

We weren't trying to get rid of Doyle or Vaughan either but they both chose to leave as well. It just feels like this kind of thing is starting to become a bit of a habit with forwards we bring to the club but yeah, let's ignore that and just blame the players.
