"A long time to turn that around", spot on. In a post some months ago I said in my view it would take 5 years to get over Rahic and the problems he left across the whole club and, indeed, the reputational damage across a section of our sport.
Yesterday was 2 years and 3 months since he left VP saying he was stressed and taking a few days, never seen again. Sadly I stand by my forecast but as you say we may be turning a corner.

 

If being in the bottom half with a novice CEO, no assets, no vision for the future is turning the corner then boy we are in trouble.

Has Rhodes left Bradford City or not?

 

It’s early days but a few weeks ago we didn’t know where the next point was coming from now even though we haven’t played for ages we go into matches expecting points. We now have a director in charge of transfers who has so far gone about the business very well. I would say there were signs of us turning the corner but only time will tell

 

Ask if he still has an office at the club and if he has then ask if he's paying any rent for that office.

On the pitch has nothing to do with the CEO, directors, owner etc...People need to understand that!
The hiring of a recruitment director is a good move I give the club that. Even if its about 10 years too late.

As I posted the other day Julian has a box at Valley Parade where he runs his business from, as do an accountancy firm I know, I believe Mark Lawn also has a box again now, why would it be an issue that the boxs might have been part of the deal when they sold the club.

 

It did state that Rhodes would make himself available if Sparks needed any advice ,so to me that says he's gone.

Not really. JR left the Club, "after years of service", as you put it in June, 2016. That was when the thanks, or otherwise came.
He came back to the Club in a Consultancy role which he has occupied for around 2 years only. How many people do you know who got the sort of accolade you mention after such short service?, cant say I do.

 

Or does it mean hes acting as a consultant??? Every thought about that?

 

I used the term 'turned the corner' in that we had literally hit rock bottom. For us to properly move forward is going to take years of following a carefully laid out plan of investment, something lacking in this club for a long time. The bringing through of youth team players is essential with how the landscape of Lower league football now looks, its something that has a good chance of bearing fruit if proper investment is made.
