I dont know how to defend him but I genuinely dont think you can class it as just rubbish - it is a lot of emotion and he does really care about what is going on (unlike some of the players) so straight after a game he does contradict himself, that is undeniable. It sounds like the work on the players the club wants is progressing (or was this again just an off the cuff response?) so it is so difficult to know what is best. I am 100% convinced Stuart now knows some of these players HAVE TO GO as they are not strong enough or good enough in all aspects - but do we stick with him to see it through? Very tough days ahead but vital we get the decisions right

I've no doubt plenty will laud McCall for showing "passion" but it was aggressive, unhinged and embarrassing.

The only valid point that SM made was that during Covid it was impossible to get players out of the club.

McCall - whether player or manager, if your life is going to be 'one million times better' by not being at Bradford City Football Club then this club isn't the right place for you.

it's a privilege to be involved as a player or manager with this club and there are thousands of people who would swap places.

if your life isn't good with Bradford City being in it then leave.

 

The only way I’d be ‘happy’ with 3rd bottom is if we are 2nd bottom going into the last game needing a win to stay up.
Then after breathing a sigh of relief I’d want to know that could never be allowed to happen again ever.

I said right from the start, we should never have brought him back, he was finished as a manager after his time at Scunthorpe. It was always going to end up like this again.
