    There may well have been people upset when parky left , or upset by the recruitment of players to develop. I actually said, i did not here many dissenting voices , when we reached the playoff final.
    A game away from the championship, where our leading scorer , was sat on the bench i believe.
    Victory that day and things might be completely different.

    In reality not many of us have any in depth knowledge of the way the club ‘is’ working. We can comment in hindsight on developments. In 2016/2017, then the club outwardly appeared to be progressing. It was only in the late autumn of 2017, that the team stalled, and rumours/stories about what was happening started to ripple outwards. The subsequent story is utterly depressing.

    In respect of Ryan, then it is very early days. A lot will depend on the actual level of support he receives from Rupp. None of us are really aware of how this will translate into potential progress. Irrespective of the plans of Rupp and Sparks, the current restrictions/limitations that the EFL have imposed, will have serious consequences. We cannot use Rupp’s potential financial muscle, to pull us out of this mess. The current squad, is what it is and we are limited with the number of senior players and the money we can spend on salaries.

    The only major thing I am surprised about is the early contract extension given to Stuart. I would have thought waiting until the end of January could have been prudent, or offering him a results based ‘rolling contract’.

    I think @Fordy117@Fordy117 is distracted by the major business sector developments on Valley Road in Shipley and the potential opportunity that may arise. ;)

    I was never pointing at any individual.

    The issue i have as it would seem this club can't do no wrong in some peoples eyes but we sit second to bottom in the league. A club that clearly is failing in every department if the aim is to be a Championship club.

    When I hear of the plan to get us back to even the Edin days then I might change my mind. Off the pitch we are just as bad. If not worse.

    So, those attacking me I don't mind. Like Ryan said himself which I respect hes a big boy he can take it. I just feel it was the wrong time to appoint the youngest CEO in football. He could turn out be be amazing. Good luck to him! For years I don't see how the club shows ambition. Why should fans care about the club? If we want pub football team we get it..Fans will turn up and not be bothered whats happening on or off the pitch.

    We all know McCall should have been sacked but he's still here! What a mess that is! Let's all make out that January is this special month that we will be the only team looking for players.

    Black said yesterday and says we need more players..That was clear in the summer!

    I'm just not one to sit there and back every decision. If its not good enough then say! We are not good enough to just think we know it all. Hopefully, now the club will see this. I await to see our identity!

    It's ALL about mis-management at Board level imo and in the dug out. Was there EVER a plan to achieve or demonstrate ambition to the fans...NOT so you would notice..Have the Club recognised failure early enough..NO I don't think so. Have they acted promptly to arrest the developing situation..doubt any one of us could say they had. Not only is this inept on all fronts when measured against successful business acumen, it should not signal any semblance of a status quo. Not just about players not doing there thing, it's also about structures not fit for purpose.
